The screen in my 13" MBP is at least as good as the one in my 2.4Ghz 15" MBP. The viewing angle, sharpness, etc. all surpass what is truly a lackluster screen in the White MB.

As for the the whole "pro" moniker. The argument is stoopid and tiresome. WTF is a "pro" computer anyway? It's nothing more than a marketing moniker. Of all the various professions how many of them require the same features in a computer? Doctors might be fine with just a plain old MB so is it any less suited for that profession because it lacks features they do not need like a video card?

I still have yet to see quantitative evidence that the different manufacturers of screens results in different image quality. I'm sure they were made to the same specifications, and it does not matter who is stamping the silicon in the factory if the design is the same.

Ha! Nice! You pwned iLog.Genius!

Per the test done by this review, 13' screen is a little bit better than 15'. 17' is the best of course.

Thanks for the link. I just read that review. Really thorough and objective analysis of the 13", 15', and 17' MBP screens. And the 15" was the WORST of the three (but still good).

iLog.Genius just seems bitter that the 13" is now a Pro. In light of this review, maybe the 15" MBP should be renamed MacBook until Apple brings the 15" screen up to the level of the 13" and 17"

Don't pay attention to that review. Go look at the screens in person for yourself. This guy can tout all day long that the screens are good, great, or whatever. But what does any of that matter if it's not good to you and your own eyes?
