If you don't like hearing about potential products before their officially announced by Apple, then perhaps not reading a site called MacRumors is a decent idea.

I know this. But I'm addicted.

Truth be told, there will be a point where Apple will plateau.

That's not the first time I've heard that.

What shocks me is that all these years Steve has been running the company amazingly, but he couldn't get a proper and younger right-hand man who he knew he could pass the company to confidently? Someone to keep up the Steve Jobs legacy?

I think Tim Cook is that guy. I actually like him, just as well as Jobs.

It was my thought that Apple knows that the 4S isn't what everyone was expecting, but there was a delay on getting the additional materials and the 5 just wasn't ready yet.

Right because everything has an end, it's predicting the plateau which is the tough thing to do. I would be surprised if Apple reaches $1 Trillion in market cap before the plateau

We'll just have to wait and see!

IMHO, "Apple running out of ideas" ..that's not actually happening. We're the ones running out of ideas.

Apple is not going to stop until they have accomplished their ultimate goal: The Apple Smarthome™

Apple cars, Apple Fridges, Apple Everything.

I think it's just the beginning.

Just because there are a ton of rumors, it doesn't mean any are confirmed. Remember before the launch of the 4s and there were rumors all over the place about a redesign and larger display, heck some sights even went ahead and made some mock-ups, yet they were all wrong (well most were, especially BGR and the Verge). And before the iPad 2 was announced, they were all certain the retina display was coming then too. Until the announcement is official, we don't truly know what is going to be in the next iPad.

What this has taught us is that every time you think Apple is going to wow us with some sort of major upgrade, remember that chances are good you are getting an incremental upgrade this year and the major one everyone seems to be predicting (large iPhone display, retina iPad, 4G/LTE)- will be a year away.

As long as i am allowed to choose a different home/car then, it should be good :p

Don't get me wrong, Apple makes good devices and i use an iPhone right now but locking up my car or home would be the last thing i would want.
