I have two of the Seneos, which I think are the "best selling" on Amazon. One for my desk at work and one for my nightstand at home. Love them so far.
There are at least two models of these - can I ask which specifically you have?

I went with the Mophie for home nightstand duty and decided to try this one for at work. It came today and overall is pretty nice but the lip that supports the phone is a bit small. Ok if caseless, mediocre with my uag case.

I purchased this RavPower wall charger which is rated at 24w, but that provides two ports. Since the X with fast charging enabled only needs 7.5w, this should be more than sufficient. Also, if you buy it together with the wireless charging stand, there is a promo code on the Amazon page for stand that gives you 40% off.
From your URL: 2.4A current per port

5V * 2.4A = 12W
12@ * .06 efficiency = 7.2W

So you can get partial fast charging with that combo.

USB-A I believe tops out at 2.4A per spec, that's why you see most topping out at this. To get more you need proprietary hacks vs QC2.0/3.0, USBC power delivery, or some other proprietary method. Hence the Mophie and Belkin that Apple sells has proprietary power adapters.

I’m assuming you mean 60% efficiency (0.6) and not 0.06. But regardless, where did you get this assumption? I agree it won’t be 100% efficient.

To me, a bigger concern are the recent reports that Apple is using a manufacturer marker to designate when to accept the higher wattage. If that is the case, then definitely only the Morphie and the Belkin chargers will provide fast charging. I find it frustrating that this has not been made abundantly clear, although since the feature is technically still in beta, Apple may clarify themselves when actually released to the public. It would also be helpful if there was a software indication for when wireless fast charging was being used. As it is now, with so many variables related to the wireless pad, the wall charger, and the manufacturer, it’s extremely difficult to know what is going on. Relying on YouTubers to video charging times with multiple configurations is not how I like to make decisions.

Personally, the RavPower wireless charger I have now is fine, but of course I do wish it were faster. When I do need a faster charge, I use one of my iPad chargers and forgo the wireless convenience. I also anticipate buying the AirPower pad when it’s available, so that is primarily the reason I don’t want to invest in a Morphoe or Belkin at this time.

I have two Qi docks, the white Samsung stand for my nighttable because I wanted white to match my decor and then this one below for work. I actually prefer this one over the Samsung as it seems to slide on and off the dock better. I like this one so much I am buying a second one for my remote office in NYC where I will be twice a week now. I admit the writing is a little cheesy but it’s for my office desk so I am not as concerned. At home, I wouldn’t want that.

It says "Universal wireless charging support for all Qi-enabled devices." right in the description. I have one coming in tomorrow, i'll report back if it works with the X.

I've been using the Samsung convertible fast wireless charger and it's been great! It works perfectly with the iPhone X and also charges quickly with 11.2 beta.

The build quality is also very nice and feels like a premium product.

Highly recommended for anyone looking at getting a nice wireless charger for the X.

So my Scosche Magicmount Charge Home/Office just arrived. This will be going on my office desk. Packaged nicely, quality materials. This product was on backorder and the day it became in stock I snagged it. I have a iphone x spigen case on my phone, with magicplate mounted on the lower section of my phone and the magnets hold great! I use a wireless charger at night and it charges perfect with the metal plate positioned at the bottom. I also have a magnetic mount on my jeep dash and the phone doesn't shift around. Now when I go rock crawling, will it fall off? Maybe

This charger is also setup for 15w and includes charging adapter.

Are there any fast charging stands for the iPhone 8Plus, 8 and X? Everything seems only for Android phones for fast charging.
