Didn't we have this debate months ago.:p

Under works best, you can rip it easier, over the top just pulls half the roll.
 
I just pick it up, stick two fingers in the hole :rolleyes: and pull some off ;)

Top. Because by using it the other way, the paper gets wet easily if it touches a wet floor.

Don't need a cat for that, the air vent does it! I suspect it would have a harder time blowing it around if I put it down the wall (under). Not gonna do it though! It has to be almost gone before the vent can really unroll it. So, I just put on a new roll, and set the smaller roll on top. Then I use the two fingers in the center method.

Down the wall is aggravating. Harder to find the end. Some will say, "What's the big deal? It takes an extra 2 seconds!" Yeah, ok, apply that to your favorite keyboard shortcuts or whatever on your Mac! You can't have it both ways!!

If you have trouble aiming it at the toilet, perhaps you ought to sit when you pee.

If it is touching a wet floor, it doesn't matter whether it is top or bottom does it?
I mean, touching the wet floor is what makes it wet, not the direction
