I turn off the shower when I scrub up. Saves hot water, of course, but with the water off, I can take my time to scrub all my nooks, crannies, hilltops, and places one should not venture without a guide. It's also relaxing. Then, once I'm sufficiently lathered up, I'll turn the shower back on to finish myself off. <--- wait, that didn't sound right.

I know I'm in the minority on this.

I'm the same way, thanks to my step-dad. I have to say, showering this way makes it go by a lot quicker.

Continuing the series of "More Than You Ever Wanted To Know About Chasen" (starting in this thread) I have to say that I love long baths in the morning. I like to roll out of bed and get into the shower half asleep, and spend a good 30 minutes or more in there. I'm one of those guys who can shower longer than women (my ex always made fun of me; my sister still does), but I really like showers! But on Saturdays I love to take baths that last a good few hours or more; usually I end up falling asleep in my bath and waking up with my nose a few millimeters above the water.

I have yet to drown.

Ah, I get it - more of a cologne person, aren't ya? ;)
That or more of a college person. We nerds tend to have issues with that. CSUG, our undergrad CS lab, is notorious for the wretched stench of computer nerd with no social skills. :p

Yikes - perhaps they should make personal hygiene a mandatory class for CS majors at your university then! :p
