Yes I am! 64gig of memory, better camera, dual core. It's on! I want a white one this time. It will be a great phone. I'm a photographer so the better camera will be the best part for me, along with the memory up to 64gig. Cant wait to see it.

no you're not. you wouldn't be relying on a phone to take photos if you were, lol

Now the real question (at least for someone who doesnt own an iphone at all), should I get a 4S....or just buy a iphone 4 for $99??

I'm slightly disappointed by the announcement, but I may. The camera, Siri, and speed are rather enticing.

First iPhone I will be skipping. I do like the better camera, but not enough to buy it. I will simply wait for the 5 since I like the OS. Can't say that I am not disappointed as I was really hoping for a bigger screen and a redesign. Not keen on the 4s design since day 1... I am sure they will sell allot though. Just hoping that it's not another 12 months for a new design!

Have a nice day,

C

Coming from a 3GS, this will be a good upgrade but it's sad knowing that the iPhone 5 is probably going to come out next year. I just have to decide whether to go 16 or 32gb.

I'm disappointed, too, but the enhancements interest me. I don't want to go Android and lose my unlimited data. The amount that I'll get from Gazelle will just about offset the upgrade price. I'm on the fence. With all of the disappointment, maybe purchasers will have a smoother experience this year. :)

I am inclined towards 4S but waiting for Samsung, HTC and Motorola to fire their guns this month with HD screen phones(with Ice-Cream Sandwich). It is pain-in-the-S to leave Apple Ecosystem and move to Android but I really want a phone that can work good enough for two years.

Well, I have a 3GS and while I was hoping for more this will be a pretty good upgrade for me. And now the lines will be much shorter on launch day. :) I have a feeling all of the people claiming to go to Android will be disappointed when they've had their phones for a few months and a few more latest and greatest Android phones have come out since they bought theirs.

No I will wait for the iPhone 4. I did find a guy willing to sell me his iPhone 4 for $150 next Friday. I'm purchasing that for my wife.

Buy a 4S if you really want an iPhone. It's blazing fast(edges out S2), less Call-drop rate(we'll see), best 8MP Cam you can have and Siri.

My iPhone 4 is only two months old since I switched to VZW back in June, so I will not be getting the 4S. I am looking forward to iOS 5.

No. I've only had my iPhone 4 since February (Verizon launch). Sure, the new one is faster and has a better camera, but I've been satisfied with my phone, so I'll stick with it. I'll wait and see what Apple comes out with next fall, when I'll be eligible for an upgrade.

I don't want to get into the trap of always feeling I MUST have the newest and best. The iPhone 4 is pretty much the only time I've gotten a brand-new Apple product as soon as it came out. We hang onto our computers for years, too. I've got a 7-year-old iBook G4 that I'm just now ready to replace with a used MacBook Pro.

Think I am going to hold off and see how much I like iOS5 on the IP4. If that is enough of a bump for me I will stick with my IP4 until next upgrade. I would like a 64g version but not sure its enough to sway me right now.

Exactly. I just don't get why some people get so caught up in the name.

It has nothing to do with what it's called people. If it was a new form factor and called the 4s, people would be more excited.

It's the fact that it's damn near the same exact phone as one released 16 months ago. Better camera and better gaming...WOW!

It's the fact that it IS just a 4s, not that it's called 4s.

I've had my 3GS since launch day, so yeah, I'm ready. This will be a nice upgrade for me - the speed jump and camera upgrade are significant. Siri looks cool, but it's probably one of those things I'll stop using after three weeks.

The main problem is the screen size, not the name.

I'll probably buy an iPhone 4, too much disappointed with the 4S. I won't pay the price it costs having the same screen. Only wanted a bigger screen...

I sold my 3GS and bought my iP4 for cash. 16GB only though and it's been bit of a pain. Going for Black 64GB as quick as I can

I'll probably buy it. The only thing that's setting me back is that I won't be able to jailbreak, so I can tether. Since my iP4 is currently soft unlocked I can still fetch about $300+ if I sell it.
