Eligible on 4/1/11!

There are actually 2 phones on my plan, and I upgrade every year. Every other year I have to do the upgrade swap, but the minor inconvenience is totally worth it.

The number I used to upgrade last year (and then swapped to my number) is eligible next June. Just in time for iPhone 6. :D

Got my iPhone 4 a day before release day last year and I've checked my account on a couple occasions and it just says I'm able to upgrade but doesn't show a date.

Iv got 23 contracts, all with iPhones, I average 2 upgrades per month, havnt upgraded this year so come June/July when the next iPhone is released I'll be ordering about 13 or fourteen... I'm going to see what is like first though...

I am actually eligible to upgrade now, but i think i will bide my time until June to see what direction the new Iphone is going. In the meantime, my good old 3GS treats me just fine.

For some reason, I never get a text back... ATT.com says Jan 2012 though. Hopefully, come June, I'll get something off the $499 price.

I actually had the same problem last night. When i tried this morning, it finally worked so i would recommend trying again in a few hours.

I upgraded June 23rd, 2010 (with the iP4 launch) and I'm due for an upgrade November, 2011.

I'm also a business customer.

Strange since I upgraded on launch day too and am eligible in June 28th. I wonder how AT&T is going to ensure that their customers stay put for iPhone 5.

You can upgrade in June 2011 but doesn't your contract run until 2012?

Aren't they just "letting" you sign a new two year contract early by letting you upgrade?

For some reason, my upgrade date got shorter by 3 months recently. Last time I checked it was 2/17/2012. I just checked today and it is 11/17/2011. Not sure why it got moved up 3 months........

I upgraded last June with iPhone 4.

I'm elgible for an upgrade in August, so if the iPhone 5 gets postponed until October it would work perfectly for me. :)

Eligible now. But the 5 will need to be really good for me to give up the 4

Why? I think we can all agree the iPhone 5 will be better than the 4. Just like the newest model of the iPhone has always been better than the previous. If you can get it why not?

Im due in April 2011. Im gonna be really bummed if the rumors are true of it not getting released until September.

I was eligible earlier this month, March 2011, but I'm waiting for the next iPhone.

My 3GS is chugging along nicely.

Nope!!

No I am not eligible but I will still buy a new iPhone 5!!!!!

And sell my 4 for top bucks of course!!

I've been eligible since March 3rd and I'm still on my 3GS. If the iPhone 5 doesn't come out this summer like some people are speculating, I will most likely be switching over to Android with the Evo 3D which is to come out early summer.

My 4 is already running great. If we get the 4 inch screen and Dual Core, that will be enough for me to upgrade. If it is just a slight bump in specs (like 3g-3gs) I will save the upgrade for the following release

I'm in the UK on Orange, official end of my 18 month 3GS contract is May, although could take an upgrade now.

Needless to say, waiting for whatever comes next!

Yeah, but they normally don't allow that until 21 months into a contract. I bought v1, v2 and v4 of the iPhone so I'm not exactly sure why they only gave me a year this time.

I have heard them being more and more generous with the upgrade times after you have been with them for a while or are a business customer.

With the Verizon iPhone and "unlimited data" mess, I think they're probably trying to do some little things to make people stick with them. I have no idea if it is policy or not. Just an observation. It may be BS. :)

So what's everyone mean with "yeah, I'm eligible"? I'm eligible now for $499 and another 2 year contract, but that kind of sucks.
