Or everyone everywhere in Canada gets a strong enough signal that the weak antenna isn't noticeable?

This.

All iPhone 4s drop signal, but if it's a strong enough signal then it doesn't matter.

That's what makes the whole thing a "half Apple half AT&T problem." The problem with the phone IS Apple's fault, but if AT&T had a better network it wouldn't have been as noticed.

This is why the reviews from other countries have been much better than they have in the U.S. They're simply not having as much trouble even though the phones are the same.

Huh? No "antennagate" in Canada? So Apple had different iPhone 4's sent specifically to Canada, ones without the external antenna? Or everyone everywhere in Canada gets a strong enough signal that the weak antenna isn't noticeable? I knew there was a reason I wanted to live up there.

And on topic: The display on the 4 is much nicer, of course. Other than that, I can't say I've noticed any positive differences between 3GS and 4. My battery life actually suffered in the switch, I don't use the camera to speak of, and I never was forced to cover my 3GS or hold it awkwardly in order to use the phone. So am I enjoying the 4 more? Meh.

Obviously the iPhones we get are the same, but our networks seem to be better as it's next to impossible to make the iPhone 4 lose signal in any place where it had a signal to begin with. It really seems to be a non-issue here.

I still have my 3GS 32gb and it still a very good phone... I don't see a huge speed difference between the two... But the screen is crazy when I look at both phones my 3GS looks like a 32bit screen compare to the ip4... Pictures are very nice same thing for hd video I love the upload speeds of 3mbps,512mb of ram, 1ghz processor that's huge for a phone... can't forget about the gyroscope.... I've tried nova and wow that's all I'm gonna say... The flash is also a welcome feature... The construction of the device is phenomenal... Thanks to Jonathan Ive yes I totally love my new iPhone 4... But the best of all this his mine is unlock!! I couldn't be happier than that!! :)

I've had every iPhone made.

After three defective iPhone 4's (all with different problems) finally replacement no 4 is a winner. It's easily the best.

I highly suggest those who get one of the many that are affected to keep trying till you find a good one

I love my iPhone 4. 3GS was a fine phone but I just love the iPhone 4's design. Plus the screens so much better, its more solid built, feels much better to hold. My only "problem" is the antenna, but it doesn't actually bother me so therefor its not really a problem!

iPhone 4 is the best phone i've used :) Might even consider keeping it when the next iPhone is out...I've bought every new iPhone within a week of it coming out. We'll see time june/july comes around though :)

Unbelievably so. I am constantly using my iPhone 4. I love the look, camera, HD video and screen resolution. Its just amazing. I find myself taking more pictures, the 5mp camera is like having a point and shoot with you. I also find myself doing a lot more social networking. I just love this thing!

I'm definitely enjoying my iPhone 4 more than my 3GS. The new screen, better camera, HD video, and new design are in my eyes worth every penny spent to upgrade :)
Quoted for truth. Although the antenna annoys me. It will always jump back to the GSM network, and I've got no problems when using GRPS/EDGE but I've got a very bad 3G signal anyway (like 1 or 2 bars) and well, that's just not enough for the iPhone 4 if I cover up the antenna.
