Feels like with literally every product, theres always going to be users that have this problem, that problem, etc......
You can be under 100% and having no issues... Depends on your average temperature, heavy use or not, age of the device etc...

I meant with a higher mAh? Is that possible? I can not find anything else than standard 2227 mAh.

Yes, my 12 Pro max has been dropping very fast on battery health. Already down to 88% and its only 8 months old maybe.
I did have abnormal battery drops with my 12 mini, with the back of the phone heating up (mainly due to ads on safari since updating to 14.6). Thanks to a top tip from @LFC2020 this has since gone (mozilla focus app to disable ads).
Yes, down to 90 percent on my 12 pro max. Previous phones have never dropped so quickly.
Launch day 12 Pro Max (November 13th) is down to 89%. Should I be concerned?

Not that I put any real stock in the battery health message but, my iPhone 12 mini is still showing 100% health.
I haven't had any faith in that battery heath reading for a few years now. I think it's completely inaccurate and Apple would be wise to just do away with it altogether so people stop worry about it. My iPhone 6s reads 89% and has been on that number for 3 years now. No way that's an accurate reading.
Both my wife's iPad and her iPhone 11 Pro have had the same reading for over a year as well.

I’m at 97% and got my 12 on launch. My 11 Pro was at 99% when I traded it in after a year of usage, and I don’t use my 12 any more or less than I did the 11 Pro. Was kind of shocked when I saw it already at 97% in less than a year, since I’m not too much of a heavy user. I always end my day around 50-60% battery life.
Release day 12PM — 100% until last month. Now -1% per week-two (today turned 94%, 8 days from the last drop).

Now mine hit 87%. I asked Apple again on the support email I had, they continue to say the following below. Not impressed with Apple Support.
"A normal battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles when operating under normal conditions. The one-year warranty includes service coverage for a defective battery. I can not setup battery replacement repair till it reaches that 80% mark."
I’ve been reading through the few threads that are discussing the battery issues that many people are having and it do seem like there a lot of bad batteries that were installed in the 12 series or either there is a software issue. My battery capacity is at 97% after 8 months, and my device will end at 20% by 11pm on a very busy day. For those who are experiencing the battery issues with batteries under 90%, Apple should replace their batteries free of charge. It’s crazy that they are saying this is normal. In all of my years owning iPhones, I’ve never seen batteries this bad. My 2 year old XS Max is still at 97%. Something is definitely going on.
Launch day 12 pro max, MagSafe charging for the last 5 month, 30w apple charger before that, running most of the betas, currently on iOS 15, battery health still 100%.

I think people are complaining because we haven’t used as a mass those 20w Apple usb c chargers. You can’t win physics: fast charging kills battery faster anyway. Problem wasn’t so obvious before, because everybody would use standard charger from the box. Right now everybody buys usb c charger as a standard.
My September SE2 is at 90%.
Also the way you use it plays a big role - wife is “abusing “ her 12PM so I am not surprised at its’ 95%. Generally those who make 12PM last 2 days but charge everyday will report higher numbers.
My old MacBook Pro had a great battery life/health as long as used from time to time even after 4-5 years. Once I started using it solely, health dropped faster than ever.

Launch day 12pm - Maximum capacity I just looked and is at 98%. The 8+ I traded up from was at 84%, so I was surprised it's already down 2%. I usually charge via a 20 watt charger w/lightening, I've charged wirelessly only a few times. But I've been trying to keep my battery between 80 - 20% ( charging when it hits 20%, disconnecting as soon as I notice it's past 80% ), maybe that's why my maximum capacity is at 98% and not lower compared to other folks. Glad I've got AppleCare 😅
