Recently, my iriver h300 broke (best mp3 player ever) and I just bought an iPod (screen was broken upon arrival :( but they're sending a new one)

I'm putting my money on apple for a little while, they have already set up relationships with the music labels, the tv networks, and the film industry. The iPod has a few years head start on the Zune. In a few years (or whenever my iPod dies on me) I will reconsider the Zune, but until then I'm going with Apple.

I do feel that Apple's market share will diminish in the next few years, because Microsoft can do this. (Look at the xbox for instance) I do hope they have mac support eventually, because that might dissuade me in years to come even if the Zune is better.

This image from the article sums up everything nicely :)
It's far too late for me to be laughing as hard as I am right now. All the images in the article are excellent.

OK, nothing wrong there. And hyou've ripped all your tracks using those settings yeah? There's something else wrong then... and you're probably best taking this to its own thread.

Make sure that under playback you've not selected crossfade between songs. If it's set to a very short time this might cause the behavior you're describing.

I agree that you might want to start your own thread on this.

Thanks, I'll do that (again).

I don't think that I have crossfade checked, but I'll check for sure. And I'll open another thread for this (again).
