Are you going to preorder on Apple.com or the Apple Store app? This is only for the folks who are choosing to order directly from Apple and not their carrier.

App gets you on before online usually and it's done faster usually.... go with the app and try at least 5 minutes ahead of time.... I'd be willing to bet you're on and done before 0100mst.

app used to be faster but it's been a mess for me since 3.0 update....did they remove express pay?? it's no longer an option for me! 😕

Although the app has been faster in the past (according to some people), you never know if that will continue to be the case. I'll be refreshing both, no point in taking any risks at this juncture.

That is a good point. Personally, it has been the way to go since it launched years ago.

Can someone who successfully completed the iPhone Upgrade Program process (preapproval then pre-order) through the Apple Store app for iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, detail their steps to completing the pre-order on the app that night? (Like physically where you go in the app.)

I don’t want to be fumbling around in the Apple Store app tomorrow morning.

I heard the website is going to 3 to 5 min faster this year than the app so that's what I recommend, that's what I'm using, and that's what I voted for. *wink wink*

My sister's best friend's uncle works in the server room 3 in cupertino and overheard a janitor talking about it. Hope that helps.

I got 2 iPads (one 10.5" pro), two iPhones all set to cycle Apple Store app and a 2016 15" MBP TB refreshing Apple.com just in case.
