I'm happy with my 12 Pro. I wouldn't want it any smaller and having had the plus size phone before, I know that's too big for me.

The 12 Pro screen size is so close to the XS Max size that I figured I could go with the smaller phone this year. I was right, the screen size is fine and the 12 Pro is easier to handle, especially when you're holding groceries or other things in your hands. I find the battery life the same or slightly better than my XS Max when it was new.

I'm happy with my 12 Pro but am still more intrigued by the mini than I thought that I would be.

wife wants to upgrade but One kid needs to upgrade from original iPhone SE and the other will be getting her first phone. Thinking of getting the kids the new SE and wife and i the mini. We currently have the X since launch. Confit plated the 12 pro at first but don’t see the need.

Glad I returned the 12 and waited for the beast 12 Pro Max, loving the extra screen real estate, amazing camera and legendary battery life.

7h30m usage yesterday still had 39% battery left, can't kill this battery in a single day, !2 Pro Max is a big step up from my XS Max,

Happy with my Black 12, lighter than my 11 pro was with bit bigger screen in similar size, was a clean swap dollar wise too so didn't cost me anything.
If it had a tele lense would be even better lol.

Happy Mini here. The M1 Mini is not my main Mac and I never intended it to be. I do music production and a huge swath of my plugins and my main interface aren't compatible with Big Sur, never mind M1. I bought this as a tech nerd and as a sort of HTPC super over-powered Apple TV replacement and it has excelled all of my expectations. Logic Pro X is gimped for me right now on this machine because so many of my plugins aren't working, but as I said I expected that, however, I'm using it as a creative tool for creating scratch projects using Logic's vast array of awesome default plugins and having a ton of fun with it, especially outside of my studio and in my living room, chilling back on the couch.

I bought the absolute baseline version with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD as a sort of "alpha" stepping stone toward a future M1 Mac that I'll be purchasing in the next year or two when everything has been sorted out.

All of the shortcomings were expected so no disappointment here. I'm itching for the future when everything is compatible and I can go full M1 because this thing is a BEAST! My main is a 2015 maxed out MBP and this Mini absolutely destroys it in regards to performance, so I can only be excited for the future of this architecture, it will completely change my workflow. As of now, I'm happy being a "beta tester"!

EDIT!

OOPS! I thought we were talking about M1 Macs... had too much Thanksgiving wine I see...

This thread is about iPhones, not Macs.
