Only thing I would jailbreak for now is quick reply texting.

I understand this, but, I always thought using the keyboard shortcuts could be the best compromise. I usually have little replies entered into the shortcuts - e.g. "ikr" for "i know right" etc. Yes, you'll have to be remember how you stored the shortcut, but I think it's good enough.

No. I did once and my phone got unstable. Biggest reason was for tethering but I have a mifi through work to use in a pinch. The rest just wasn't worth it.

I'm not sure you understand what I mean. I want to be able to respond to a text from anywhere. I want to be able to respond to a text while in apps. Right now the only way is going into messages app and to me that is very counter productive.

Yes, mainly for bitesms. Wouldn't mind having my emulators back either, which should work a lot better on the 5s vs my old 4s.

Ahh! Okay, I get it now. Yes, that would be a cool feature.

Can't wait for a jailbreak...Tweaks such as Nitrous, Accelerate, GridLock, Five Icon Dock, Shrink, many more as well.

NO for sure. iOS jb-ed make it looks same Android: not stable, random reboot, stupid bug!!!

Thanks.
Then you're doing it wrong! :D

Just because a jailbreak becomes available does not mean you go hog wild and install everything and anything that fits your fancy. Smart jailbreakers consider what they are going to install and how it might affect other things. They do their research and ask questions. Sketchy repos, pirated software and buggy cracks are the main culprits as mentioned already and are generally avoided by responsible jailbreakers.

True, you can run in to some problems because some devs have issues and bugs with their stuff. But for the most part if you pay attention to what you're doing you'll avoid issues.

I know. I was one of those persons who installed everything I could find that would run on iOS 5 (way back when). I ended up having to restore several times. But you learn.

With jailbreaking comes responsibility. Don't jailbreak if you would prefer to leave that responsibility to Apple.

Found another JB reason, I can't tether my 5s as the network I'm using is an MVNO on O2 and doesn't have a carrier profile to allow tethering

Hadn't even thought about it until needing to tether and having to put the sim back into my jailbroken 4s to do so.

I'm on the fence love how smooth the phone runs without any jailbreak but quick reply I still need
