I wish Amazon would vet some of their sellers a bit better. And reserve reviews for verified purchasers. They could allow comments from non-verified purchasers in a separate category.

Agreed. Amazon is turning into a jungle. I've seen decent products get 1-star ratings by people who don't own it just so they can continue their brand wars or make some political statement or weird stuff like that.

Wait until Apple makes a car. Then people will be buying rubber armor / protectors for their cars, and plastic protectors for the interior.

Ok, THAT was funny. I pee'd myself laughing!

Not so bad actually...

It's a case design, you either like it or not. Given the sometimes mango sized Otterbox designs for iPads and iPhones this looks perfectly natural. If you imagine it particularly on someone with large forearms it probably looks quite a bit proportional than just a Watch itself.

Good point, size of your arms makes a diff. My watch is just right, with a case it looks HUGE. I also bought it as a luxury item, not a sporting accessory. If you have "room to expand" on your arms then it may not look so big.

Amazon have refused to take down those knockoff watch bands that have product photos that are direct lifts from Apple's web site. That's also annoying.

I hate reviews that are about shipping or some random feature that the product wasn't even advertised to have. Why rate it 1 star if you bought a knife and expected a spoon when the product was clearly a knife?

They bought it to use it not obsess over its looks. That looks awesome if I were going camping or hiking and wanted to bring the watch with me to track times, altitude, and other health based stuff. Plus it would be useful for notifications. Plenty of uses for it

I don't want to sound pedantic, but I would hate to see a fellow forum member get suckered so I will chime in with an opposing opinion and please forgive the mini lecture that follows. Take a good look at the product pictured and the others in their lineup. It looks poorly machined. Would you really trust a $350-$1000+ purchase to that manufacturer?

Here's another aspect of the product description that sets off warning bells:

Wirst is made by aluminum and inside with rubber and an Buterfly Clasp.
The 2 piece protective Case is made by quality Aluminum.

I am half Asian and the Apple Watch itself is made in China, as are many high quality third party products, so this isn't some xenophobic hate on the third world rant. But that poorly translated description usually indicates a cheap Asian knockoff product. Sometimes they turn out decent. And sometimes name brand reputable five star products made overseas come with wonky translations. I acknowledge that. But a lot of the time when the basic product description itself is so poorly done, the sloppiness of the documentation and product description is carried over into the materials and workmanship because the overall operation lacks the resources to do better.

Parts that are supposed to fit together often don't. Parts that are supposed to fit around your watch or phone smoothly won't and may cause more damage than they could prevent. Poorly machined metal and plastic parts could have burrs that could damage your watch.

The tolerances around the watch are not very forgiving. Everything needs to fit well in order for all the features to be accessible and usable. I'd advise anyone to be very discerning about the third party merchants they're entrusting this expensive watch to. And even if they have a few of these things that are well made, that doesn't mean their quality is uniformly high across all products in their line or even among the same model.
