Left handed atheist Mac user here although I use a mouse with right hand while using either hand equally on trackpad. Throw left handed but bat better right handed. Play golf right handed.

typical lefty, ballin' it out with both hands.
 
Right handed for everything.

I've tried to write with my left hand, and my handwriting is completely illegible. Granted, my writing with my right hand is not much better, but using my left hand takes it from barely readable to just a bunch of random squiggly lines on the page :p

Yeah, but which hand do you wear your watch on? A true lefty wears his watch on his right hand.

And lefties: try writing in cursive backwards (mirror writing)....it can come very naturally to lefties. Da Vinci would write that way.....

When I worked for an inventory service, I used the calculator ("I-Cal") left-handed because I had taught myself left-handed ten-key: I cannot write left, so it made sense not to have to keep picking up the pencil and putting it back down all the time. There were several south-paws who complained about how it was a right-handed calculator, which I did not get at all. Perhaps they had been given specific training that was hard to break, I just slung the thing over my shoulder and started using it.

So I have been annoyed that big keyboards have the keypad on the right, but so it goes.
 
Polls are one of my pet peeves. You need an ambidextrous choice in this poll, ambidextrous lean left, and ambidextrous lean right. I do most things left handed, but some things I do right handed.
 
For those of you who are lefties, do you switch the mouse buttons around so you can use your index finger the most?

I still use the mouse/trackpad with my right hand, so no need to switch the buttons. Most lefties I know are like this.

exactly, there's bias in the poll. i'm one of the few, the proud, the lefties. :cool:

for the record i do a lot of stuff with my right hand as well, for example using the trackpad and golfing. but i write left handed, drive with only my left hand on the wheel, among other things too.
 
I use whichever hand is convenient at the time. I write with my right hand on paper but with my left hand on a blackboard. I have no trouble switching between the two but I can't write with my left-hand on paper, it comes out backwards.

I'm not sure if I ought to answer left or right for this poll, there should have been a third option :(
