See, that's sorta why I'm fearful of buying a white laptop. Not for the little things, but because I'm sure by big greasy hands will stain the palm rest
 
I sold my 1st gen (white) MacBook earlier this year and the thing still looked like the day I got it. And I drug that thing with me to Iraq for a year.

I take very good care of all of my computing equipment. All my laptops get a Zeroshock case and a screen/keyboard protector for when I close the lid.
 
I used to be. But then one of my friends dropped a match milimetres away from the touch pad and burnt a small hole. :eek:

At least I found a practical use for all those apple stickers!

try one of those magic erasers.. i was smoking actually a few months back and dropped the "cherry" or whatever you'd like to call it, directly to the left of my trackpad.. had almost a yellowish tint to it the size or a dime almost.. now you cant even tell that there was anything there.

If you're careful with it I find acetone to be the best cleaner for the case of the MBP, just be sure to stay away from the plastic pieces. ;)
