Oh the irony.We all bring out multiple devices to increase our chances of a successful preorder in case of store problems. But... what if the store problems only occur because everyone is visiting the store on multiple devices???
Same here. Never pre ordered an iPhone before so I'm excited. I'm getting the 64gb silver which is the least popular. So I'm hoping to get one.
The iPad Pros are super quick. They load the store in 0.5 second! My phone takes around 10 seconds to get fully into the store.

on topic - i'm getting ready by taking a shower and going to bed. alarm set to wake up about 10mins early. MBP and iPhone are charged up - ready to go. 'night.
If everyone could just kindly wait until I have my confirmation before placing your own orders, that would be just swell.
When i pre-ordered iPhone 7 last year i only used my iPhone 6s. Didn't have issues pre-ordering through the app, too late to try to go on the apple website to log in now. Don't even think my info is updated on website, but i made sure everything is up to date on the app. Not too worried but then again who knows how much harder it will be this time around
Basically everything you just said applies to me. Haha. Hope everything works seamlessly on the app!
That's like saying hit Alt F4 on the browser window just before the preorder starts.
In previous years I discovered:
1. The Safari page with "We'll be back" changing with various languages on my Mac did not update once ordering began. Cost me 12 minutes. I should have been refreshing the page.
2. Since I'm on the upgrade program, I have to order via the iPhone since the pre-approval only works there.
3. Due to (1) I assume that the Apple Store app on my iPhone will not automatically show that ordering is available. So there will be a constant process of killing/restarting the apple store app.
4. Even when I was refreshing and still getting the "we'll be back" page others were placing orders. I assume that was because they were placing orders via the Apple Store App on a mobile device.
