I'm going by the macrumors forum. I know its not indicative to the average iPhone users, but I want to have hope ill get my iPhone x on launch day.
The strategy that got my hands on the X last year at 10 Am was the Apple Store app on my iPhone. I already have the SG 256 Xs Max in my favorites bag ready to go.

I'm a dork, couldn't sleep last night because I was excited for the keynote today. Tomorrow night will be mad max - hopefully preorder goes smoother than last year's where the Apple Store app didn't come back up for a bunch of us trying to preorder until it was a week out.

Nah, I am skipping this generation. I got the X and 8+ last year. They are both really good phones and I'm not all that impressed by what was shown today.

I have a feeling these won't be supply constrained at all and I would probably be safe waiting until the morning (after all even the super constrained X last year only slipped like a week overnight) I'm still going to stay up, or at least wake up, to pre-order tonight...it's just tradition at this point! Even when I was using Androids I would still tend to stay up to order one for my wife or my mom.
Definitely going for an XS Max 256 gb, not sure on the color yet though. White is my favorite color so I might do silver again, but that gold looks really nice too

Cant decide between the XS Max in Gold or Space Gray. I have ALWAYS had SG in everything Apple has released phone wise but with the white front it always deterred a switch. Now with the front being the same for all models I am leaning the Gold to mix it up.

I’ll be ready with my iPhone and iPad Pro. The part that is difficult is choosing between Space grey Xs MAX or silver/white Xs MAX. I’ve always had SG so...
I wish we had more photos of the gold. Every hands on video is the videographer bumbling around nervously flipping it back and forth. Is the gold a manly/deep gold or a wimpy Rose color?
