13 Pro Max here.
This is also my 3rd iPhone (I jumped on iPhone with Xs Max).
Very happy with this chunky beast, battery life is superb, iOS is incredibly smooth and fast on it, the camera is great and incredibly consistent, love how hefty it is and the display is pure perfection for all I do.

I am waiting to see the 15 Pro Max, if it is a good enough upgrade then I’ll probably pass the 13 PM on to a relative and jump on 15 Pro Max.

I have a 13 Pro too and it’s an excellent phone. I did buy it about 11 months after it was released as it was a good deal over the 14 Pro Max (£250 cheaper). I’ll probably get the 15 Pro Max but i’ll wait until the 16 Pro Max is released as that’s my strategy for buying iPhones now. I can’t justify these extortionate prices now, it’s got to the point where I feel it’s taking the mick. It may be that I end up keeping my 13 Pro Max even longer but i’ll assess it when it’s time to upgrade. I think my current phone will be good for a few years yet to be honest.

My favorite phone is my 13 Pro. I see no reason to upgrade to the 14 and, in fact, view the 14 as a series to stay away from. I will probably upgrade to the 15 Pro. My battery life is already around 85% and I use my phone as my primary business phone. I need it to last all 16 hours / day.

A battery replacement is $89. A new iPhone Pro is $1,099. As a business guy, I'd assume you'd be particularly good at making decisions that keep more money in your pocket..

13 pro max alpine green purchased may last year.
Planning to keep it till the 16 hopefully I won’t cave and buy the 15

Very pleased with the 13 mini since around this time last year. Pocketable, one-handed power! I would like greater telephoto capabilities, but not so much that I'm willing to put up with a bigger phone. I'm considering buying a Sandmarc telephoto lens.

I was happy with my 6S until Apple ended support for it last fall.

Now I'm happy with my SE.

;)

Going from an XR to a launch day 13PM(256GB) has been a fantastic experience. The larger screen did take some getting used to in beginning- mainly pocketing it, not the actual handholding and using it - but I quickly grew to love the overall experience of having a larger phone, the better display, and increased battery life. About the battery health, it only started to minorly dip below 100% in February of this year. I've usually been one to go a few years between iPhone upgrades but depending on what the 15PM brings to the table, I might be tempted to do it.

iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB Sierra Blue in Canada here. Yes, I'm still happy with mine. Had it since October 15, 2021, not counting the fact it was replaced twice and the first one had the display replaced, but that was due to me being careless in the past. I'm much more careful with devices now. It's still the most expensive thing I've ever bought in my life, but my storage is starting to get full, iOS 16 ruined my battery (battery health is at 96% and just dropped from 100% within the last month), and the lack of decent zoom quality is holding back my photography. Also, USB-C and 4K Cinematic mode (only reason I never use Cinematic mode at all, ever, is simply because it's restricted to 1080p on the 13PM. Otherwise, I'd use it all the time) would be nice

Yes, still loving my iPhone 13 mini starlight. Great device and I hope Apple keeps a mini phone in the lineup.
Had a company iPhone 5, then 6 for a very long time, followed by the 13 mini.

Nothing to complain about with the phone, battery at 100% after more than 15 months of light use.
They do with the SE but a Mini as is the 12 and 13 form factor? That's gone for good unfortunately IMO. I have a 14 Pro now but came from my SE (2020) and most recently my SE (2022) as my secondary phones with the 12 Mini as my daily. Not a fan of the heft. This sucker gets heavy in the front pocket after awhile. I still prefer the size and feel of the SE or Mini but love the camera and Pro Motion screen of the 14 Pro.

Yeah the 13 is one of my favourite iPhones I’ve had. Love the pink colour and everything just works so well and looks so sleek. The battery life is significantly worse than when new though so will be hoping the 15 provides an upgrade in that area

I don't think Apple realistically expects most people to upgrade every two years anymore, as the difference between the models isn't significant, while the price increase on phones has been. I am sure Apple has internal data, but I'm curious if any research suggests how long people, on average, keep their phones nowadays versus when the iPhone first came out.

My wife upgraded to the 13 Pro from a 7+, a significant upgrade for her. I have a XS max and will likely upgrade next cycle to the 14 or 13 to save money unless there is something truly compelling about the 15. For me, the killer feature was the 13 and cinematic mode video.

Yes and no. Upgraded from an iPhone 11 Pro to the 13 Pro.

The size of the 11 Pro, with rounded corners and a tad smaller design, were ideal.

The 13 Pro is chunky/boxy and the battery life is no better.

Where the 13 Pro really shines is the camera.

Lowlights for both front and back, as well as macro images are above and beyond the 11 Pro.

I just got an iPhone 13 on 5th April...from an iPhone 11.

So far, I'm very impressed. The iPhone 14 costs more than I wanted to spend, but the 13 is still a decent upgrade from an 11.

For me, the biggest improvements are 5G and the OLED display.

I think generally people keep phones 3-4 years on average these days. When I consider all my friends and work colleagues who are in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, most own their own homes and drive nice cars yet most use much older iPhones and Androids than an iPhone 13.

Anybody else think the trend for having the latest and greatest phone these days has died off? People on this forum are probably an exception.

As people cut back on expenses (I don't know anybody that hasn't), luxuries like the latest and greatest are the first to go.

I always want the latest and greatest, but due to iPhones getting more expensive and incremental, it's hard to justify spending $2000+ every year on a new phone. I'm hoping to make my 13 Pro Max last till 2024, although my storage is filling up fast so I may be forced to upgrade sooner (512GB btw)

I’ve had my iPhone 13 for a little over a year and am still very, very happy. It’s my third iPhone. With the 14 out and the 15 at the door, I see no need to upgrade - - - Anybody else still enjoying their fast, accurate handsome little 13?
The iPhone 13 ProMax is the ultimate iPhone for anyone who is a world traveler in our imperfect world where electronic sims are just not readily available: it is permits the inclusion of a foreign local sim card which is just not possible with the 14.

iPhone 13 Pro owner here. Upgraded from 11 Pro Max which now my daughter uses.I am not planning to upgrade this year, as the phone is perfectly fine for my needs and the battery still shows 96% capacity. This year my wife will most likely get upgraded from 12 Pro to 15 Pro. My turn might be next year :)

I have just taken off the case from my iPhone 13 to give it a quick clean, and I'm happy to report that it's still in impeccable condition. Despite owning it for only three months, I am thoroughly impressed with its exceptional speed, power, and superior screen quality compared to other phones. I enjoy using this device for messaging, web browsing, and consuming media on various apps, among other things that I use a smartphone for. It's an excellent device, and I don't see myself upgrading to a new one for at least 4-5 years.

13? I'm still happy with my 12 mini! :)

As long as the battery continues to hang in there, I haven't seen a lot of reason to upgrade.
