It would be great to have the ability to customize the control panel buttons (as I never use the calculator, timer, flashlight, or airdrop). If I could replace these with settings, mail, or safari, I would definitely use it every day.

a few times for Bluetooth/airplane mode and camera (I tend to forget the camera most times)

Stop right there. Customize is NOT in apple's vocabulary. All I've ever wanted was to change the color of text messages so you are not staring at blue and green all the time. It's 2014 - it's not like changing the color is going to tax the chip or anything.
