Never, ever, EVER buy a computer because someday a newer, better model will be available. Why put yourself through all the angst? Just get a deck of cards and a typewriter.

IDK if the HD4000 will be very good on a retina display, seems like it would have graphical glitches pushing that many pixels. Unless apple adds a dedicated gfx card which is doubtful, I'd wait for the HD5000 or whatever the next intel HD gfx are... just sayin

I run on HD4000 100% of the time unless I fire up Diablo3. No graphical glitches.. even running Diablo3 on HD4000.

I was planning on getting the 13" air as well, but then news of the 13" retina Pro coming out in Q4 of this year changed my mind. To check out the retina screen, I went to a Best Buy yesterday and I was honestly not impressed and must've been desensitized by all the hype. Yes, it looks clear and crisp, but it's not worth the premium or time waiting in my opinion. I instantly fell in love with the 13" Air and it just felt so good to type on and use. The IPS display on the Zenbook Prime didn't really attract me either. I'll be picking up a 13" Air next week after I decide on the configuration.

Did try looking at high resolution pictures while playing with the MacBook pro retina display ?
