I'm usually not that worried about stuff that gets discontinued.

One reason for that is that I moved about 6 years ago to the US of A and I had to change my lifestyle completely.

But I have to say when DIESEL discontinued it's RABOX-Style Jeans I was really ticked off. Those were the best jeans ever and I'm still kind of sad about it. ....I know there just jeans but I got so used to them....It's hard to let it go.....:)

Oh and years ago in my hometown there's this pizza chain called Topper's Pizza and they had a specialty pizza called Perogy Pizza which had bacon, onions and steamed potatoes on it. It was heaven. Then they discontinued it, and when I tried just ordering it as a normal pizza I saw that they had discontinued steamed potatoes as a topping. :(
eww....perogi pizza. when i visited my great-aunt in freeland, pa a few years ago we got perogi pizza from some place and it was awful. potatoes have no place on pizza...:(

I think they still have it listed on their website but my local grocery store doesn't seem to carry Frank's Red Hot Chili & Lime anymore, it is the BEST hot sauce on the planet.

lite brite is still around eh? it looks awfully different. please tell me you don't have kids, that'd be awesome! ;)

lite brite is/was amazing. I have a very old school one from the early 80s lying around somewhere. :D

In the same 'childhood' realm, they've essentially 'discontinued' good old-fashioned school playgrounds. Places where skinned knees and bruised elbows could actually happen.

Over winter break last year, I heard that they had torn down our old elementary school playground and put up a new, safer one. Naturally it is plastic, brightly colored, padded, ultra safe and super vomitously boring. :p

Whatever happened to the rickety old swings that 'someone had once gone all the way over on!', or the slide that would get so burning hot in the mid-day sun that you'd have to scoot down super fast or you'd burn your butt? what about the jungle gym that could hold 15 warring Apache braves?

they're all gone....they were dangerous. :(

the cheesy gordita crunch at taco bell

and the build your own burger at chilis (i actually think it has come back, but it pissed me off last time i went to chilis and they didnt have it)

Trader Joe's close to my place stopped carrying the yogurt covered raisins. I hope it is not officially discontinued.

The Pasta Milanase at Cheesecake Factory.

The Cheesy Gordita Crunch sounds good. I'm craving a bit of Mexican right now. If only Taco Bell were closer. Maybe I'd get one of those Crunch Wrap thingy's. Although Orange Chicken from Panda Express also sounds tempting. Man, I don't think I've had this many cravings for fast food in a very long time. Very weird....

They "discontinued" those Championship Los Angeles Lakers. Other champs have moved in to fill the void (including new and improved Los Angeles Clippers), but I miss having my city's team win the NBA championship so we fair-weather fans could have fun rioting in the streets.
