wordpress, and modified http://wp.lowstream.com/ theme.

pretty basic stuff. just wanted it to work. looked into other options, and wordpress was the most popular so I figured I'd see what the fuss is about.

Simple is definitely better. You don't want to go all "13 year old on MySpace" or anything. But a little color or spiff might not hurt. Just a little.

1) It's a free world, but is another site really necessary? Most of us, if you want to give an opinion or make a statement, do it on our existing site? The Internet is clogged enough already. Why not use the site you've already established. Would it hurt to give an opinion on MR?

2) While the plebs among us may confuse "Rumo(u)r” and “Speculation”, we would be unlikely to write "is the a lack of distinction". 😉
