What are the arrows for? And there's a rank. You can't click on them to vote up or down so what are they for?

In every case, the arrows are part of the avatar. They're not functional, just like Doctor Q's.

We get they're not functional, but there has to be some reason for them. I'm under the assumption it's a Contributor thing.
