"Jobs," the Steve Jobs biography directed by Joshua Michael Stern and starring both Ashton Kutcher as Jobs and Josh Gad as Wozniak, can now be purchased or rented in iTunes.

The film, which scored a 26% on Rotten Tomatoes, can be purchased for $19.99 in high definition or $14.99 in standard definition. A 24-hour rental is also available for $3.99 (SD) or $4.99 (HD).

"Jobs" can also be purchased or rented via Amazon Instant Video for $14.99 and $4.99, respectively, and it is available on both Blu-ray ($22.99) and DVD ($17.99) from Amazon.com.

Originally released on August 16, the movie received mixed reviews from critics, who felt that it was unappealing and focused too heavily on Apple rather than on the life of Steve Jobs. Original Apple employees like Daniel Kottke and Bill Fernandez also criticized the movie for its inaccuracies.

During its opening weekend, "Jobs" made just $6.7 million, which was below the $8-9 million projected by its distributor, Open Road Films. In theaters the movie, which had a budget of $12 million, has earned $16.1 million in the U.S. and $19.8 million abroad, for a worldwide total of $35.9 million.

Another Steve Jobs movie, from screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, remains in the works with a prospective 2014 release date.

I went into the film thinking I was going to hate it, but I really enjoyed it! You just have to remember to take it for what it is....a movie.

Aaaand no one will watch it

Cant wait for the Sorkin Jobs movie. If he started writing for Spongebob i'd probably watch it

I didn't want to watch it when it came out, and it don't want to watch it now. Do yourself a favor and instead of watching this, watch the 2007 iPhone announcement. Or any other Steve Jobs keynote, for that matter. They're so good.

iSteve, although a farce, is much more worth your time! I caught it on Netflix a few weeks ago. Hilarious!

I believe the film was held to a standard that was simply impossible to reach given it's circumstances. I saw the film and actually quite enjoyed it! I think many of us went into seeing the movie expecting it to truly, in two hours, encompass the legacy that Steve has left. To be "worthy" of him. Now, while even I'll admit the film did fall short of that, it's certainly worth a watch if you have the time.

Its Ashton Kutcher, you know its gonna suck. Him and quality don't go together. Accept that and you'll prolly have an easier time enjoying the movie for the piece of crap that it is.

I didnt expect to like this mainly because of the critical panning it had received but I enjoyed.

It's not an especially intelligent film and tackles the Jobs story very literally. But I think AK did Jobs proud.

It's not a horrible movie. Just a bit... Movie of the week.

It's hard to make stuff like this interesting and just seemed to go through the motions and didn't deal with any of his more inseresting work, next or Pixar for example.

I liked Noah Wiley in pirates of Silicon Valley tho. That was all about conflict.

I might watch if/when it goes to Netflix. I won't pay extra (even $3.99 is too much) to watch Ashton try to act.

This is not a good movie. It's cheap and the screenplay tackles the events of Jobs's life more than what they personally meant to him. Kutcher was fine, but the material was greatly lacking.

Can't wait for the Sorkin version.

I really liked it after the first 20 mins. It took a while to get into.

Shame it never got a UK theatre release, I had to settle for a pirate release with Japanese subtitles and a weird aspect ratio.

I quite liked this movie actually. It took about 20-30 minutes to get over the fact that it was Ashton Kutcher, but I thought he did an excellent job.

I wanted to rent this a while back, but it wasn't available, so I watched it on one of those free sites. The guy can't act, and he took Steve's walk and turned up the stupid. It wasn't the worst movie ever, but certainly not for the true Apple fan. At times, they go out of their way to make a point, when everyone who knows anything about Apple already gets it, but they go that extra mile so you know. Very insulting. I guess if nobody knows anything about Steve and Apple, it would be almost an average movie.

The guy in that Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet advert from yesterday will be watching this on his iPad later tonight.
