I'm going to be honest and say that I don't really get the point of the new multitasking. How's it different from what it used to be? I'm just worried that it will take more battery power than before. What do you guys think of it? Have you used it any differently than before? Has it changed the functionality of your phone in any way?

downloading from itunes website didnt work. It seems to think i've already got it!

Download iTunes 11.1 directly from Apple's website. Just google Apple.com iTunes and it should take you to the iTunes page. Click the download tab, and then download where it says iTunes 11.1

no luck. gonna restore iphone back to 6 i think

A CYA question. If I backup my iPad 2 via iTunes which is running iOS 6.1.3 and if I decide after trying iOS 7 that I want to go back to iOS 6. Is it as simple as doing a restore via iTunes and will I be able to revert back to iOS 6? :)

I want to get the contact pics to show up full screen during a call. I was told as long as I loaded the pic through the phone itself rather than through the computer or iCloud, it will do just that.

My question: what's the best size for the pics? In a square? Rectangular? Is there a best size that would just place the picture?

Thanks.

I haven't upgraded to iOS 7 since the early betas -- what do apps that aren't optimized for iOS 7 (like Things, or "Downloads" apps, for example) look like?

Do they retain their old iOS 6 look?

You cannot downgrade on an iPad 2. Nor on an iPhone 4S, 5, iPod touch 5G, iPad 3 or iPad 4.

anyway to make the bottom app background thing transparent instead of having it look uglier than my crack?

Change your wallpaper.

Yes, they retain their old iOS 6 look.

Hello, In iOS6, while listing all the tv episodes of a season, there was a "play" icon on the top RH side. If you hit that, it would play all the episodes continuously. I don't see a way to do it in iOS7. Any way to do that in iOS7?
TX

Anyone?

Thanks so much for responding and, at least, letting me know there isn't something that I'm missing.

My complaint isn't that the animations aren't smooth (as far as I can tell, they are); it's that it takes too much time, which I think was a design decision. I want to be able to use my iPad instantly after unlocking. I don't want to wait for the animation to complete. iOS 6 was instant; iOS 7 takes one frustrating second each time.

you're worried about one second?

My stupid questions:

-in the notifications menu, is there a way to disable checking off reminders? I use reminders to keep track of my bills, and accidentally marking them as complete could be very bad.
-is there a way to select which calendars appear in the notifications menu?
-is there a way to get the notification menu to show upcoming calendar appointments in point form? I'm not loving the 6 hour calendar view. I'm also not loving that it will tell me I have am event tomorrow at a specific time, but not what the event is.
-I'm not getting all my twitter notifications. I know the problem isn't on Twitter's end since I'm still getting them on my ipad which I haven't upgraded yet.

Is there any way to get Safari to always display the full URL in the URL bar (e.g., the page I'm on right now is displayed as 'forums.macrumors.com' when it should be 'forums.macrumors.com/newreply.php?etc'). It's not a major issue, just a little annoyance!

Tap on the actual URL in the address bar and you will see the full URL.

Any way to get rid of these annoying icons when you launch a new browser?

Please! Thank you!!!

Got a Major Problem with iCal

It does not show All-Day events.

Also in notifications center i cant see the All-Day events.
And i can only see events for a few hours in the future not the entire day.
I would like to have a list like view of iCal just as it was in iso6, is that possible in ios7 ?

And how to get the All-Day events to show ?
Are there better alternative Calander apps that do show All-Day events, and sync with iCal on my Mac ?

Check out one of at least a few calendar threads in this forum for some alternatives.

Is anyone else having a problem with the location services menu not working? I tried to use find my iPhone and it said it couldn't locate it because location services was turned off. I went to settings and found it but the toggle doesn't move. There is no way for me to turn it on.

Can't Find iTunes Radio Tab

Ok, I'm going nuts trying to find the new iTunes Radio tab in the Music app. I go to where it is supposed to be, but it's not there. Even if I select the 'more' tab, it's not there either. Can't find it on my ipad2 or on my iPhone5!!!

Notification Center

When I get notified by an app (Bleacher Report), I pull down NC and tap on the alert to go straight into the app, but why is the message still there in NC? I thought it clears as soon as you open the app. It's annoying that I have to manually clear it.

Just upgraded my ipad to IOS 7. then all the applications become useless. I deleted them all and start to resync the application on my Itunes to the Ipad from scratch. But after Itune finished syncing I can not open any applications. once I opened them the icon will revert back to "waiting". Also eventhough the Itunes said "finish syncing" and the icon appears on the Ipad screen, they sill not "light up", meaning the icon is still dark like when you're installing it.

Anyone who experience the same situation ?
