lol ipads aren't serious for gaming. Imagine paying $25 for this. You could buy the PS4 version on Woot for $20 which has a free PS5 patch. No black bars or ugly icons on the screen. Is this even running at 60 FPS?View attachment 2385565
Looks great but why isnt the game filling up the screen? The black bars are killing me.
How can a buggy app be Apples fault? So… buggy, crashing, load issues, download issues, M4 performs < M1 …
What a half-hearted effort by Apple
Unfortunately, we are still years out from AAA gaming on iOS.
I’ll still download it though![]()
What about the many people who don't have a PS5?lol ipads aren't serious for gaming. Imagine paying $25 for this. You could buy the PS4 version on Woot for $20 which has a free PS5 patch. No black bars or ugly icons on the screen. Is this even running at 60 FPS?

Seems to be a lot of people that bought it anyway, though if they are smart, they bought it in the first 2 weeks for $25.Sure, mobile gaming has tremendous potential, but I'm still not convinced that the very people who are prepared to pay $50 for a game aren't also the people that already have a PlayStation, Xbox, PC or even a Switch.

Same.similar experience to others. Crashed twice in the first 20 mins trying to play. stuttering visuals on high graphics setting, switched to medium and it was more playable, but still crashed and iPad 11 M4 getting well toasty. any chance ubisoft update this buggy mess soon?
i‘m not blaming Apple here. its Ubisoft that have an issue with the buggy mess that is this game.Same.
Too much remote working at Apple. Gaming team on a different planet from hardware team.

There is a blurb about it in the app store that it is coming for the holidays.Source?
Nothing like taking a stealth game designed for a 14 button, dual analog controller, and using janky on-screen touch controls
Interesting - I have not had it crash on me once when mirroring.Unplayable on the 11” iPad Pro M4 when screen mirroring, crashes every 3 minutes.
App Store rating down to 2.5*. I’m surprised it’s so high!
Which iPad are you using?Interesting - I have not had it crash on me once when mirroring.
I have played it on both an M2 11" and an M1 12.9" but am using the default graphics settings. Seems cranking up the settings to high has caused some issues.Which iPad are you using?
My setup was M4 iPad Pro 11” Wifi+Cellular 512GB, fresh setup (not from restore), using a PS4 controller and screen mirroring to the latest Apple TV.
I also put my graphics setting on High… not sure if it’s related.
Did you buy the full game? I’m considering, it’s quite good when not crashing!
I dunno about latency but I've been using an Apple branded Lightning to HDMI converter for years - together with Jump Desktop (in my case coupled with the tiny ProPoint mouse) even super old iPhones work fine as emergency RDP devicesThe protocol already exist! A USB-C cable.
Pro iPads going back many generations have video out as well as the 15's. Apple TV/Airplay is unnecessary just plug it it in/connect a controller to the device via bluetooth.

The last update to this has made the game virtually unplayable for me. Crashes, massive stuttering, controller randomly disconnecting. Ugh...
Working at a software company I am just astonished that this release could have made it through QA - playing for 5 minutes would have shown how unstable things are.For me, with the update I have fewer crashes but the massive stuttering makes the game unplayable… and controller disconnecting.
