AT&T 6+ (ONLY) with 11/9-11/27 Ship Dates

Just found this thread. Glad to talk to people in a similar situation as me.
I ordered two 6+'s on the 12th at 5PM (Premier site wouldn't let me order online so I had to call in). I received my confirmation email 20min later. I received a secondary email on the 18th stating that they're still expecting to ship my items between 11/9 and 11/27. 877# still saying backordered. Many people with later order dates are getting their phones shipped.
Spoke to CSR yesterday and he told me (he thinks) since I ordered two phones at the same time that its the reason its taking so long to get them. Doesn't make sense but I couldn't argue with the guy.
You'd think with all the planes flying into Louisville everyday and with people canceling their orders that we'd get our phones sooner. Guess not

My office ordered 4 6 pluses (all SG 64gb) on the morning of the 9/15 through AT&T Premier. They all immediately went to the 11/9 - 11/27 ship dates. All of a sudden, one of them shipped this past Saturday and arrived on Monday morning...so annoyed right now. Obviously, if my phone was the lucky one I would be in a different mood . It really does seem that AT&T is picking order priority out a hat...brings me back to that south park episode where the the Fed decides what to do with bankrupt insurance companies by cutting the head off of a chicken and letting it loose on a big board full of different options. The one that chicken finally dies on is the option they go with....#attfail

This is the support group I need. I ordered in store on 13 Sep. SG 64 GB. Used an upgrade from another line on my account (which only att and best buy can do). now I need a support group because all my friends and neighbors are getting their iphones before me.

Retention will have to give me a 100% free without contract iphone 7 to get me to stay once the ETF's are low enough for me.
I am seriously tempted to cancel my order with AT&T and order from Apple who are showing 3-4 week shipping times on SG 64gb, especially since it seems like AT&T haven't shipped any phone in about a week, doesn't give me much hope of getting the phone before Thanksgiving. And I placed my order in store on the 14th, always going to order straight from Apple in the future.
I did two month early upgrade for both lines on the 9/30 thru retentions, one is a grey 6 64Gb and another is a grey 6+ 64Gb. 6 has the shipping of 10/29-11/18 and 6+ is 11/07-11/18. I hope both arrive sooner than that. Twiddling my thumbs until they arrive.
Hopefully my search is over. I got lucky and landed one on Costco.com last night (ATT SG 64GB 6+).

So since it seems like AT&T is not shipping out phones to those who have October shipping dates, the odds of any of us getting our phones before Thanksgiving seems to be dwindling, I cancelled my order and ordered directly from Apple. They gave me shipping dated of Oct. 30-Nov. 6 so we will see what happens.
I was in a similar position, but ended up getting a 6+ at my local Apple Store - just a random walk-in last Saturday morning. I had zero expectation of them having one, but they had the exact model I wanted.
I was at a different Apple Store yesterday and couldn't believe that there was a line for iPhones there too. Nothing big, but 8 - 10 people waiting to get into a small format store, so I assume Apple is going to keep pumping 6+'s into their stores first, before they ship to their wholesale customers.

We have the exact same order, place, order dates and shipping dates. I'll be here waiting with you. <sigh>. I was hoping with all the of the people who have claimed to cancel their ATT order and ordering from Apple that we would have seen some movement. That hasn't been the case so far.

Well, nice to know I have some company haha. I,too, was hoping that these ATT order cancellations would lead to our shipping times getting moved forwards... oh well, in a month or so we will quickly forget about this.

I ordered my 6+ 128 SG at 8 AM on the morning of the 12th. I went through the ATT site, but apparently my account gets routed through Premier because I get a discount through my employer. It seems those orders had to be transferred manually into the ATT system, so my order date is showing as the 18th, instead of the 12th. So, since then i've been showing as 11/9-27
I think some folks with the lower demand models will likely get bumped up, but apparently the 128 SG is some sort of mythical device, the unicorn of cell phones... I'll keep hoping for sooner, but will be happy once November gets here!
In the meantime, i think ATT is taking the low road in terms of information dissemination. The scarce details and particulars (especially why the Premier fiasco occured) are disappointing.

I am also part of this club as well. I ordered a 6+ SG 64GB at the local AT&T store on 9/16. I had to wait until the check cleared from my last phone bill. If I want it sooner, my best bet is that we're getting a new Apple store at the new mall across the highway from my office on 10/16. (Nearest one currently is all the way in Tampa). If my order status doesn't change by then, I'll dash over there on my lunch break (provided they have them in) pick it up and cancel my (so-called) preorder.
So frustrating to see all the Apple stores that have my 6+ 64 SG in stock but I am still looking at a 11/9-11/27 ship date. The closest one to me is 5 hours away...and with 3 small kids, that just isn't realistic. If it weren't for that, I would cancel my ATT order and hop in the car.
