AT&T buyers still with "in progress" come in..

no dice. no tracking information. all she said is that she sees it was released from the warehouse but hasn;t shipped yet, thus no tracking information

what a bunch of crap!
 
Ordered on the 9th and never shipped. Went to my local AT&T store and walked out with a new phone in 30 minutes. Best thing is my update price dropped from 399 to 199!!

I was in and out of the AT&T store within 5 minutes this morning. Went by the Apple store first, line went all the way around the building. Ugh.
 
have you called the regular automated order status hotline yet?

i tried that..but when it asks me if i want to hear the options again. i keep saying NO..and its like sorry i don't understand you..so i dont know what to do!

Agreed - but, I'm a typical guy when it comes to shopping. Know what I want, get in, get out with a minimum of hassle.
 
On phone with executive customer service manager. Useless... don't waste your time. Even thoughI ordered at 10:00am EST on the 9th he said "not everyone is going to be able to get their product today".

I hope apple realizes ATT makes them look very bad.

I called the ATT support number and they said my order is scheduled to ship the next business day. Are others getting that too?

I even tried canceling my order, but no go.

It sounds like the people who had "in progress" status, but did get phones, were able to get an update from the 866 number.

Those of us who can't even get a real status update from the 866 number, seem to be stuck in limbo. Maybe AT&T used Oceanic Air for our orders. :-(

My 3GS just showed up on my doorstep. AT&T status still says "In Progress". AT&T operators @ 866 say it hasn't shipped.

I guess their inventory/tracking system is the real problem...
 
Both of my iPhones were just delivered at 1:24 pm!!! Now, I just have to wait for the phones to fully charge before I can activate it.
 
Still "in progress". I got yelled at by a Premier Customer Support person for 10 minutes for daring to ask where my phones were or even what step in the process my order is. I've been on hold for over an hour and a half. Nice work AT&T. You rock!
 
Just got off the phone, apparently they never ran my credit so the order has been in limbo. They took care of it and it will ship within 24 hours, so I should get it Monday. :rolleyes:

The real ****** thing is that I have spoke with ATT customer service 3 other times this week and nobody said anything about the hold up. Friggin BS.
 
Was just delivered at 2PM Eastern by FedEx. Unfortunately, I have to look at the box until Tuesday when I have my board exam or else I won't get any studying done.
 
My status changed to "shipped" yesterday (FedEx) but no tracking number and no email from ATT. Every time a truck goes down the street I open the door to check :) Those neighbors who didn't already think I'm crazy, do now!
 
A total of 2 hours and 11 minutes on the phone with AT&T. End result is...

1- I just burned up the rest of my T-mobile minutes for the month.

2- My phones that were ordered on June 12th are on "back-order" and I should expect to see them in 14 days (which is after my new bill date for T-mobile).

EXCELLENT! Now THAT is customer service. AT&T can't tell me they don't want my $1200+ a year in service charges and $400 for phones. God Bless America.
 
Mine is still on the truck for delivery. Delivery by 3:00pm. I'm not holding out a lot of faith for delivery within the next 40 minutes.

And naturally, the minute after I go somewhere, the FedEx truck will arrive looking for a signature.
 
Mine has been sitting at the facility since 7am this morning.

Think it was put on the truck and just not scanned?

The facility is literally down the street from my house.
 
i just watched the FedEx guy drop off a package across the street, then drive off...

Mine might have been on that truck as it is scheduled to be delivered by 3:00 PM today.

Hope I still get it.:rolleyes:
