What he was asking is the rate period beside the call log on your Online Account Management.
If you go to Voice & Data Usage --> Minutes Used
find the date and time of the call, (10:06PM of whatever day it was) the rate period beside it should say NW which stands for Nights & weekends.
Now that call log should be taken out of your Nights & weekend minutes, not the regular daytime minutes.
Sometimes you'll see this:
01/28 01:04 AM VMAIL xxx-xxx-xxxx NW VM 1
I don't know if that's the one you're referring to when you said you were charged.
I checked my voice mail again last night at 11:08pm (NW), and again I was charged 1 minute of air time. I even used the iPhone's voice mail button! WTF?
UPDATE: After speaking with AT&T again it seems by looking at my account online it shows ALL calls made, not just what air time I am charged. Okay now that makes sense. Although I am not sure why it showed I dialed my VM when I used the visual voice mail button and the phone never placed a call, strange. So it seems the only way to see what air minutes were actually used is by waiting for the bill to arrive. Seems like we should be able to see just this information online before the bill arrives.
I am just glad I have this all figured out now. Hopefully our bill won't arrive with surprises.
Yes, ALL calls are logged and you can view it on your OLAM. It's the matter on where they deduct it from (daytime minutes OR nights & weekends minutes) which will affect your usage.
