just preordered through AT&T.com. worked absolutely fine. 32GB iPhone 4 Black (even though I wanted white but oh well). Free overnight shipping too 😀

Not for me.

Interesting, I cannot even log in to order a iPhone. What is even sadder is about an hour ago I was at the final checkout confirmation and it choked. Seems I was ordering when the site went down.

Story of my life.

Still not working for me.

same, now when I log into my account I get this as soon as I log in.

Not working for me. Same kind of system problem message.

Last night I was able to get an order but stopped before paying. I didn't like how it wasn't just showing me what I have now in terms of my plan the way the apple site did.

Now I'm wondering if that's playing any part in me not being able to get an order in on the apple site. Or if it's just the same old mess.

returning user vs new customer

so i got a phone (or my receipt looks like it went through). then i tried to do the same thing for my sis... but it failed! looks like if you are setting up a phone # transfer or a new # - then it works. I don't think the site is checking the servers right now.
but if you already have att- it checks for eligibility- and since the servers are down... you are SOL.

🙁

Apple's site seems to be doing a little bit better... sure is embarrassing to have all those problems. 😱

Keep trying... it gave me the same error messages but finally let me in. FAR less painful than Apple website. Just have to refresh the page until it comes up.
