Lol, sad part is, theres a lawsuit about the iPhone 4S battery life right now...

Is Verizon LTE same as AT&Ts? Would AT&T phones be able to "roam" over to Verizon LTE towers?
Not sure a how it works. But one would assume if all three, sprint, Verizon, and AT&T all use LTE they could piggy back off of each other like Verizon and Sprint do with CDMA evdo right now.
No AT&T's LTE is completely different than Verizon/Sprint. AT&T's LTE will also dramatically faster than Verizon and Sprints "LTE".
sources please
Check out the infographic on AT&T's LTE. It shows their steps of Edge->3G->3G+(4G)->LTE.

Whereas the other providers only go from EV-DO (little faster than edge speeds) to LTE (4G type speeds). REAL 4G is actual LTE, not this 3G+ stuff that everyone is throwing around.
Cant find any data speed for ATT LTE on their website.
Anyone knows how fast ATT LTE can run?
Iphone 4s can go up to 14.4mbps on HSPA+, but we only get about 5 mbps in the real world. That's all i know.
That graphic doesn't do anything whatsoever to confirm (or deny) the assertion that the LTE network being deployed by Verzion would be any different or incompatible from the LTE network being deployed by AT&T.
The ONLY thing that graphic accomplishes, is to point out the fact that AT&T went through more incremental (3.xG) steps to go from its UMTS (baseline 3G GSM) implementation to its LTE (4G) implementation, than the competitors went through to go from their EV-DO (baseline 3G CDMA) implementation to their LTE (4G) implementation
-- And, consequently, it establishes the premise (probably true) that during the interim period before each prespective carrier's LTE rollout is complete, AT&T's legacy 3.xG services will remain online to give outlying customers better performance than Verizon's outlying customers.
Tested about a month ago.

Basically, until both networks catch up and provide voice fall back through data they can't work together. It'll be a few years until they both have that capability, but when they do they should be able to use each other's towers. Not saying they'll let each other, but they would be able to.
