Hi guys, please don't flame me if this has been said before but there's a little disclaimer if you add the discount code for texting. I hardly send MMS but wanted to have the option to use it once in a while but your MMS will be disable. I had to bring my texting plan back to default in order to work. I though I one point that maybe the jailbreak has something to do. So if you're that person that don't care for MMS then you can continue with that plan.

Wrong. For some reason since I got my iPhone 4 on my family plan with my wife's iPhone with IBM FAN, I have the B2B 750 minutes for $7.49 and can still use MMS on a pay-as-you-use basis.
The problem isn't that the code won't work with MMS, it's that it's not for MMS, only SMS. I had the same issue when Apple first added MMS to the iPhone OS.
Like the post above says, you can use pay-per-use MMS, but for many people it doesn't work right off the bat. You've got to call AT&T and tell them to add pay-per-use MMS to your account, and then it will start working again.
Does anyone know its B2B1500 or TMS4 still works for 1500 SMS for $8.99? Ive tried a few times with no luck. I dont want to call 100 times if they for sure dont work! please let me know!
relatively sure that one is dead. tmb9 is prob your best option. (750 for 7.49)
bah 750s not enough. 1500 is perfect for me I use between 1000 and 1300 a month
750 would be perfect for me. Can I just call ATT and ask them to delete the 1500 I have now and put on the tmb9 code? I am currently on a FAN 20% off discount through my wifes company as well, any issues combining them?
called 6 times on 6 separate days for TMB9 and still not able to get it...any luck with any other codes?

Yeah Im still looking too. Would love a 1500 SMS one. I use 800-1200 a month so this would be perfect to cut down the bill 7 bucks. Nothing huge but every bit counts!

Looks like AT&T's new messaging plans kinda take care of some of these codes, but I guess the question is now, does anyone know if there are codes to add the (current and soon to be killed) $5/200 messages plan onto an account that didn't have it?
at&t removed my TMB9 and put me on the pay per use. They insist that I had agreed to the change when I upgraded from the Iphone 4 to 4S and nothing can be done. I've been charged a $50 overage as well.

I had this issue as well and lost my $7.50 plan. I was furious of course as I would not have upgraded had I known. Also I could not even tell that my text plan had changed to being charged per text as viewing my data/text usage was unavailable online until the start of the next billing cycle. How convenient for them.
I was told that my only options were to pay per text or the $20 a month plan. I found both options unnaceptable. After much arguing with AT&T over the phone and demanding to speak to the supervisor I was eventually able to manage a credit for all of that month's pay per text and was allowed "as a courtesy" to accept a discontinued (and recently discontinued) $10 a month plan. This is still an increase over what I was paying before but I had no choice but to accept it. To my knowledge there aren't any more discount text plans with or without a FAN code.
I consider the price AT&T charges for texting to be outrageous and as a result of this incident I will leave them as soon as there is an LTE iPhone on another carrier. I would switch immediately but AT&T's 3G data currently blows away Sprint and Verizon (not to mention being able to use 3G and receive calls simulateously) and I am fortunately still grandfathered into the unlimited plan. Despite the discount I will never purchase a locked iPhone ever again.
That sucks. Not looking forward to my upgrade then unless they change that policy. We'll wait and see if other carriers might offer better deals. I guess it's always YMMV for a supervisor to override it.
I have had each iPhone - except the first - and you are allowed to keep whatever plan you had before unless you make a change to it. I have had the unlimited data plan and my texting since I first got my phone. Never has it changed just because I upgraded to the new iPhone.
Do you have the TMB9 text plan too? If so, then it's really a YMMV cause the poster above said his got removed. I upgraded safely from the 3GS to 4 while keeping the TMB9 7.50 text plan, to upgrade on to 4S is yet to be done.
No, I do not have that plan, but my point was more that they don't just remove features because you upgrade your phone. You either ask or agree to have it removed. It doesn't have anything to do with the iPhone upgrade.
Well, based on my upgrade from 3GS to 4, the AT&T reps while I was buying the iPhone 4 told me I had to drop that text plan because the code is expired and I had to change it to a $20 SMS unlimited plan, or the $5/10 ones. I had to get an AT&T tech support to add my SMS plan back. If you actually go back a couple of pages, you'd see that some users with this specific text plan are being asked to upgrade or drop the plan because they always claim it's expired and it can't be grandfathered so somehow I'm lucky I still have it.
Are there any Text Plans that are still active and can be added?
