OK.... so I don't go to mexico often (haven't been in years!) however on the off chance that we decide to take a day trip I should add this, since it's free!

however.... before I do: has anyone who got the double data deal a while back (we get 20GB for the price of 10GB during the data wars last year) done this and does it affect (effect? never can keep those two straight) at all??

I don't want to mess up my 20GB deal to add something I probably won't use anyways!

I'm on old unlimited plan. It doesn't work for me. Att slow , little by little pushes me to either T-mo or now 1/2 price Sprint.

We gave up unlimited last year. It was cheaper plus we get to tether.... Although I don't use a ton of date so far (in reality the 10GB plan would be enough for us) I don't want to lose the 20GB plan...

T-mo and Sprint are both crap around here.... Verizon is more expensive (plus I get a 25% discount with at&t, would only get 15% with V)

Where do you live? We just visited family in SoCal and I was blown away how good T-Mobile was (with a band 12 device). There wasn't a place I could find where we weren't on LTE and we were streaming music almost everywhere we drove. We were in the Bentura county and Los Anfeles county areas. It also drove up as far as San Luis obispo county.

We had T-Mobile out there about eight years ago and the difference is night and day. I almost wish I lived back there again because the service was as good as ATT. It's decent here in New England but in SoCal it was WOW!

Supposedly Canada is coming soon, before Thanksgiving. I was advised by phone agent to check back with them again before Thanksgiving. Same deal-- you have to request it, gives you free 1G data, but the data allowance doesn't roll over. Also no charge.

I hope Canada coming soon is true. Yeah, I know, I know...T-Mobile gives you more internationally but the tradeoff is that T-Mobile's coverage in the U.S. lags behind AT&T's. For people who stay within North America when they travel and are already AT&T customers on MSV plans, this is a nice perk.

I don't live in a metropolitan area.... so T-mo and especially Sprint are not an option. And at least with at&t we're getting 20GB for the price of 10 PLUS a 25% discount....
