You seem very intent on making a point. What might that be?

AT&T is ethically bankrupt and does not cater to their customers, but rather openly insults their intelligence.

I already said this like five times, but you never actually respond to these issues. I guess you're just content being the devil's advocate on this one. It is very clear to most people.

The problem is that you've yet to offer a single iota of proof. I'm not defending AT&T (I'm a T-Mobile customer and incredibly happy that this deal fell through so I can stick with the price leader for a while longer), but you've got some pretty bad debate skills here. You're making vague, unprovable statements and not backing any of it up.

ATT's justification for axing more affordable texting plans was, as they stated in their announcements of the change, for the benefit of the consumer. ATT's prices are so closely aligned with Verizon's that it would be naive to think they both weren't just price matching because there is barely any other options for consumers. Third, I have no proof that they would axe jobs if an acquisition happened, but common sense tells me that a company doesn't exist to lose money so they would need to get rid of redundancy. Again, all I have is common sense, not top secret AT&T internal documents. Do I feel it's wrong to acquire and slash jobs? Not really. That's business. But I think our be hard pressed to find someone who really thinks they aren't lying when they say the acquisition would add jobs.

They lie. It's obvious to most. If you need a carefully structured logically sound debate to figure it out, you must not believe in common sense.
