Only hours ago you shared the same anticipation as everyone else on this thread. Just because you received a shipping notification doesn't give you the right to be condescending to those who haven't.

If you don't like her posts, keep it to yourself.

I shared confirmed information in a straight forward manner, free of any extraneous emotion.

If that's equivocal to confusing my iPhone order with my makeup order and the resulting hysteria before, during, and after, then, sure, I too have the same level of 'anticipation'. ;)

iPhone 6plus 64 space grey shipped for 25th delivery (ordered att next 4 hrs after 3 am est)
Original shipping promise October 16-23
Happy camper...

thanks for the inf bro!!!
I think they don't use any order time or phone model to fulfill the order. I guess the logistic must be location vs carrier. I always pre order, this year I could complete my order at 3:03 EDT. No tracking information so far, last year was the same situation. Last year I received a USPS tracking at 7pm day before launch, I receive it at 10am next day (and I'm in Puerto Rico).

Relax and enjoy the show, you'll probably get your phone this Friday.

What model did you ordered this year?

Mano gracias por la info! Saludos Boricua!

Fort Worth tx, just outside airport
I believe it's in Grapevine TX, but is located on airport property and has a Dallas mailing address.

Edited to add: It now seems likely it actually is Fort Worth, at the UPS' Alliance airport distribution hub.

I give up. We are screwed if we haven't got a email or notification for tracking by now. If you didn't do a backup plan order with best buy. Then prepare to bring your lawn chair to your local store for camp out Thursday night. Good Luck.

random thoughts... (and i imagine this will ruffle some feathers, but c'est la vie)
  • first of all, the endless speculation and heresy is quite comical
  • for those who are still waiting for shipping details, unless you were quoted a delivery date of 9/25, you might want to consider calming down a bit. AT&T has ALWAYS been conservative with their shipping estimates. some will be lucky enough to receive their precious device well before the quoted delivery date while others will likely receive it during the given delivery range.
  • AT&T probably has very little to do with the timing of the delivery of the phones. They are simply at the mercy of Apple, particularly AT LAUNCH. If Apple doesn't have their manufacturing sh*t together (which seems to be the case with the 6S+ models just like last year with the 6+ models), it's their fault. Not the carrier. (Lame) Example: If your trusted local grocery store tells you that they don't have Diet Coke in-stock because Coke screwed up their high fructose corn syrup formula, you don't take it out on the people at the grocery store, do you? Which brings me to...
  • I really feel for the AT&T reps. They must DREAD this time of year every year. Unnecessarily angry customers calling to demand an update on when their precious device will be delivered just 24 hours after they placed their pre-order. Come on, folks! We sadly live in a culture of "I want what I want when I want it." And a number of people refuse to understand the concept of patience. It's quite sad, actually.
  • Lastly, and I know this will make the blood of some of you boil, it's just a f*cking phone. Yes, an awesome phone we stayed up late or woke up early to pre-order, but it's not the cure for cancer or a check for a $1million dollars you're waiting for FedEx or UPS to deliver. It's a freaking phone. You. Will. Get. It. Eventually! It's not like Apple or AT&T are purposefully holding it hostage until Christmas for sh*ts and giggles (if that happens, though, I'd be pissed).
To quote the countess, "be cool, don't be all like... uncool". I hope you all get your phones soon.

Thats what im going to do if i don't get any info by tomorrow night.

Ok, so now that many of us have received tracking / shipping info (mine is 6S+ Gold, 64GB ordered about 3:15AM EDT), can anyone tell me how we are supposed to get FedEx to hold a package BEFORE attempting delivery? I haven't seen it in this thread and can't seem to figure it out on the site.

Bonus question: If they do hold for you, will you be able to pick it up bright and early in the AM on Friday 9/25?

Thanks in advance. I make car parts for the American auto worker, because that's who I am.

Thank you for confirming that the orders are random. Now for the people that think there is a order to the madness. Wake Up!!!!

My experience with both FedEx and ups is that they will not hold a package for pickup until after one failed delivery attempt. I hope things are different now but that's been my personal experience in the past.

Interesting as I just talked to FedEx on the phone and got an answer that was something like "you'll have to call once the package reaches your regional distribution center on Friday morning, then they MAY be able to do it"... Guess we shall see. Thanks for the response.
