I think we all experienced all the stages of grief this past week:

Denial- Surely AT&T was just mistaking with their scheduled dates, maybe it was a glitch, I'm sure they'll fix it by Monday.

Anger- OK AT&T wtf!? It's Wednesday and you still have the same Oct date for everyone who ordered a 6s+, stop messing with me! All other major carries are going to have shipped theirs out and everybody will enjoy their new phones and I'll still be refreshing my order stauts!

Bargaining- Well, maybe if I cancel my order and order through Best Buy or try Apple I can get mine delivered on release day. Hmm or maybe I can probably take work off and go stand in line a few hours and hope they don't sell out of the version I want.

Depression- I'm not going to be one of the cool kids! I'm going have to wait until October, Halloween will have come and gone and I'll still be 6s+less. Ugh, FML! :(

Acceptance- Alright well, my current phone is ok for the time being, its gotten me this far. Apple has already made us all wait an extra week this year, what's a couple more!? Nothing, I got this, I'm aight. I'll just stick with my original order and hopefully if I cross my fingers really tight, they'll ship it right before release day. Hopefully..

9/23/15 - The iPhone's are coming, the iPhone's are coming! AT&T came through and found a pallet in the back of their warehouse and shipped them all out. Oh happy day! I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!

That happened to my boyfriend too. They thought it was because he moved and his billing address didn't match what was on his credit report... who knows. So he went to the store and pre-ordered on the 14th. He originally got an Oct. date and his SG 64s+ shipped today.

Anybody here tried to order from AT&T website, but then got canceled a few hours later for some "unable to verify your identity with the information given" and was told that you couldn't order from their website any longer?

....yep, I guess it's just me....

Since they refuse to tell me what caused this and insist that there is nothing I can do to fix this, I am sort of banned for no reason what so ever. And they keep telling to go to the store and buy it there instead.
ned

Silver iPhone 6s+
Ordered placed 09/12 at 12:05 AM PST (Cali)

No change whatsoever for me, but I'm hanging onto hope that it'll ship tomorrow.
If ATT does ship more phones tomorrow, would they still arrive by Fri via overnight?
They probably will. I'm in the same boat as well as another California user

They will. I've had plenty of items with overnight shipping ship the day before the delivery date.

I'm sure your phone is at a distribution hub in/near Cali ready to be shipped out Thursday.

Sounds like some one could have took your ID and gave AT&T a hard time.

Friday or Saturday.

Just signed up to post this.

Ordered on the 12, a little past midnight PDT.
6s+, 64GB, SG.
2 Yr contract, UDP.
Premier account, shipping to Norther Cali.

No update on my status, and still have the Oct 16 ship date.

Still hoping for some update this Thursday.

Out of curiosity, how come FedEx doesn't have the option to hold at a FedEx Location for AT&T overnight shipping? Normally with most if not all my FedEx orders, I am able select that option, but this time, it's grayed out

A lot of 64 GB models have been shipped, but 16 GB models still shows estimate shipping dates of Oct. 16-23rd. Anyone received tracking info for 16 GB iPhone 6s Plus ordered from at&t.com?

Same here. Are these phones really not going to move until Thurs night?
I live in Fort Worth and my phone is coming from Memphis, Tenn. I don't get why my phone couldn't come from the Fort Worth area since I live around here. Though I suppose it might have to do with when I ordered it but thats the only thing I can guess.

Also I don't get it, my phone is in transit from the "sender" which is AT&T to UPS, however it won't be delivered until Friday. So what is it doing between getting scanned at 2:10PM today to be turned over to UPS and when it will finally arrive in the DFW area to be delivered to me? Also it says it will be on UPS Next day air saver, but I guess its not on that till UPS has taken custody of it. My only guess is also that maybe it's on a truck? Any idea's?

UPS likely is warehousing the phones for AT&T at UPS' distribution hub at Alliance airport, west of DFW. They are stored in an escrow area. When they are ready to be shipped, they are moved to the sorting area. They are shipped Next Day Air Saver for security. Keeping them in one large place instead of many smaller places and minimizing transit time reduces the chance for theft, early delivery or sorting error.

I live in Dallas. Last year, my order didn't get a Departure Scan until after midnight on launch day. It was driven about 20 miles to the Dallas depot and showed an Arrival Scan about 40 minutes later and a Destination Scan a few minutes after that. It showed out Out for Delivery at about 6:00 am. It never saw the inside of an airplane.

Damn I work near that airport. Do you know could a phone be delivered directly from that place once they are allowed to leave the holding area, or do they have to go to a depot first?

I haven't seen any 64 gig gold shown. Have they shipped those already? Because if they did I wasn't in that batch and I had a pre order on the day it started.

Mine too left Ft Worth for 7 hours and now it's back!
Maybe the driver got lost and Siri took him back home.
