Yes we are talking about Pluses. Thought that was a given, sorry.

Well yeah it was kind of a given but I was just pointing out that they had been sending shipment updates out all day, and 1:45pm just happened to be the time that they started including plus models - no reason to think that they'd be doing the same thing today... I dunno.

Seems it's not going to happen for us that ordered 128GB SG +'s. So much for getting up at 3:00am to order. This is AT&T...not sure why I'm surprised.

Manual is a lying wanker

Manuel T: Your order is scheduled to ship 10/16/2015 To 10/23/2015. We’ve seen tremendous demand for the new iPhone models from the moment they became available to pre-order. Apple and its manufacturing partners are working hard to fulfill the demand. In most cases, orders for the smaller 6s models placed on 9/12 will be delivered on or around 9/25. However, orders for most of the 6s Plus models will ship between 10/16 and 10/23. Both Apple and AT&T are working diligently to fulfill orders as quickly as possible and we’re genuinely sorry for any inconvenience.
this is an identical messsage someone posted early in this thread lol yes i'd def say manuel is a lying wanker

I mainly worry because if it's FedEx, I need to be home to accept delivery. It's a HUGE hassle to pick up from them after delivery attempt. So I have to schedule time off work to be home. But I don't want to waste a day of vacation if my phone doesn't show up, then I'll have to use ANOTHER one when it does deliver.

I was ok with waiting when everyone was waiting. But seeing people who ordered after me get there's, and I'm getting nothing is super frustrating.

What's the lates time someones order shipped yesterday? Any thoughts on when cutoff is for overnight delivery?

I've been @'ing Att angry song lyrics and will continue to

Yesterday I tweeted @att before all the plus notifications started showing up, and when they replied with a cookie-cutter response I replied and @mentioned all the other carriers, and those carriers started replying with offers to switch to them. I know it's all bots, but I found it quite entertaining.

I have shipped a lot of things overnight via Fedex and UPS. Cutoff for drop-off time is usually around 5:30 or 6:00pm (local time) for guaranteed overnight delivery.

And, I thought since I didn't order until 9/13 that my 128GB SG + would ship later than if I had ordered at 3 AM the day before. You would think that at least the early orders like yours would ship for launch day. Maybe you'll still get lucky.

If the phones are still in Ft. Worth or Memphis, the cutoff time will vary depending on sort times, distance to destination, etc.

If "my" phone is in Ft. Worth, they could theoretically get it on a truck by 5pm Central and get it on a package car for delivery to me in KC tomorrow. That's assuming it would make the sort. IDK when FedEx uses planes rather than trucks. YMMV depending on distance.

I imagine AT&T and FedEx are working pretty closely together so the cut-off time is later than normal... it's not like some clerk at a random FedEx counter is going to point at the clock, shake his head, and turn away dozens of trucks parked in the lot. ;)

Seriously though, figure maybe 4-5 hours of flight time from TX to anywhere else in the US, and they'd need to be at distributors at probably 3am or 4am local time to get out to the local branches in time to start deliveries... I'd say they still have around 8 hours or so but that is baseless conjecture.

I have officially lost hope in getting mine in tomorrow: ordered an iPhone 6S+ 64gig gold. No movement for me and I haven't seen anyone else have there's ship. I've seen 2 people that ordered after me(I ordered 9/12 at around 11am) and there's shipped. So I'm mad and out of hope

what does the timestamp of your initial order read?
Long story. Originally 3:18 am central on the 12th. Att vp moved up my shipping order to 9/24 but had to cancel original to do that. So this order says 9/21 but I'm supposed to have kept place in line

I agree with your baseless conjecture.

Ordered on 9/12 about 9 hours after pre orders went live. Ordered an iPhone 6S+, 64GB, gold one and got the 10/16-10/23 ship date. I don't know how many of these have shipped but I haven't seen many so I'm hoping they'll ship some soon! Do you guys think I'll get mine on launch? Already tried reference number tracking and can't find anything. Any advice or help please?!
I ordered 2 phones including the same that you ordered on the 12th. I just got the shipping confirmation this morning for the Gold 6S+ 64GB. I also ordered a Space Gray 6s 64 which was shipped yesterday.
