AT&T: iPhone 6S/6S Plus Pre-Order Thread!

Still no activity on my phone. Ordered a 6 Plus 128 SG at 2:51 am EST on 9/12. ATT keeps saying that it's "first come, first serve" so I'm pretty sure that I got in there early enough. I'm in Kentucky and wondering if this is a regional problem. Plus the rep that's managing the AppleCares Twitter feed told me that NO 6 Plus's where being shipped out. lol

Yeah those 6s's are going out pretty quick its the certain color/storage of the pluses that are having the issues and waiting games...

I have a buddy who drives for UPS. He hates iPhone delivery day for just this reason. He gets slowed down allday by people trying to get their stuff early. Which makes him have to stop, find the item, check the ID etc. When that happens over and over all day, it ends making all of his deliveries later. But hey, as long as you get yours early, right?

He says it's WAY worse than Christmas.

Here in Colorado I have received no information either, on my phone atleast. However, my brother got shipping info on his yesterday at around 6:30 pm so I'm going to assume it's because of the color I ordered.

This morning I went to local AT&T store around 6 AM and was the first in line. Had the phone activated in my pocket at 8:15.

You ordered thru ATT? My friend who lives in Portland OR - ordered the exact same thing u did on Monday (like 4 days ago), and was told mid October and was totally okay with that - and his is on track (via FedEx) for delivery today
 
I got my tracking number last night. I was super excited about it. Then I woke up this morning to my email from att Monday delivery. 4 more days of this ugh!!
 
Will FedEx leave the phone at my front office, do we know? I have it at the sorting facility and scheduled for delivery by 8 PM today. I'm afraid they'll come by when I'm out with GF having breakfast.

There's no option to pre-sign, nor does it say anything about signature. I created an account and told them to leave it at the front office of my complex, which is what UPS always does. I know FedEx are a bit more tight with their delivery practices.

It didn't say I couldn't choose that option.

Oh I'm not really sure. But before it didn't say anything after 6 plus. Now it added the RGD. So I am hoping any change is a good sign!! Lol
 
I would be totally fine if I knew I had something coming next week, but this waiting waiting waiting & hearing nothing is annoying

I think you can probably expect a notice today or over the weekend. The SG phone is going to be popular as always and of the 4 models it's the only black phone. The SG Apple Watch was by far the highest demand. Unfortunately the way that AT&T does it they will probably be processing orders non-stop as they receive them from China. Of all the carriers they definitely seem to be the least efficient as they are too much of a middle man in the delivery process basically slowing everything down.
 
Are the new Verizon iPhones able to use Data while on a phone call? That issue and unlimited data are the only things keeping me with AT&T.

WTF, I ordered the same model at 3:09 CST and won't get mine until Monday and one of these other posters ordered BEFORE 3 CST and hasn't even received tracking info!! ATT is a joke.
 
I received tracking for my 128GB SG 6S+ that I ordered around 11am EST on the 12th at about 3am EST this morning. Tried to order at 3am EST on the 12th but had tons of issues with AT&T (shocker). Haven't receive tracking for my wife's 128GB RG 6S+ that I ordered about 10 minutes before mine. Seems pretty random the way that they're being shipped out. I don't know if it makes a difference being premier or not.
