only buy the 64gb if you absolutely need the storage space, but don't consider it as an investment, because resale value for them sucks.
i paid $900 for my unlock 4s in the apple store, and i couldn't even get $700 back for it earlier this summer.
its no wonder the 16gb and 32gb fly off the shelfs the way they do.

I ordered a black 64GB from AT&T on Sunday night 10/14 through the website and got an email the next afternoon that it shipped. Arrived at my house around 2pm on Tuesday.

You'd probably get it quicker. Honestly, who gets the 64gb anyway? People who stole a crapload of music when Napster was around and people who have to have the biggest best because their self esteem is low. 64Gb? They're like the electronic version of hoarders.

..or a mom with a new son who blows out her 32GB 4 AND now needs the 64GB 4S & 50GB iCloud plan for all the pics & videos. She uses her iPhone for everything.

Really? Judging people based on their storage preferences for their portable media devices? Maybe people like high quality music. Games these days are approaching a GB and more. Pictures and videos take up tons of space as well.

I always say, better to have too much than not enough.

I have a 64GB iPhone and drive a Ford Expedition and guess what? My self esteem is not low. :)

My iphone 4s was 64GB, because I needed that.
I bought it for $399 on launch day and got $380 for it. So it worked out quite well, given that I'll be paying $399. again.
