AT&T order people with 6\16 date

Just got an email from AT&T Premier, my phone is on its way and is actually arriving tomorrow, too bad I will be at work. Anyway, looks like things are moving, I hope everyone else who's ordered on Premier is getting their phone shipped soon, its looking good if I finally got an update. :apple:

Have you called today? I called earlier when I had no status change and the operator finally told me the phone was in the shipping department and a tracking number would show up later today. My tracking number showed up about 7 hours later.
 
Placed my order late at 6pm EST. Phone was never backordered. I just got my tracking number and it shipped yesterday, next day air UPS. :]

They never sent a shipping email, but I noticed a 'Let's talk about your new Iphone' email from ATT saying they hoped I was enjoying my new iphone 3g. lol I checked my status and I had a tracking number finally. So apparently weird emails from ATT are a good sign.
 
Ordered via premier website at 7am PST on 6/15, received confirmation 10 min later.. 32gb.. still on back order... :mad:
 
this is my first post on this thread but i've been following it for awhile now, figured i'd give my two cents. ordered on ATT around 1pm est on the 15th, order still in progress and says my order date is 6/16. first four confirmation numbers are 5051. never on backorder. called this morning rep said everything is good and will be shipping soon for me to have ON THE 24th. sadly enough i should have waited to get my order through on apple because 2 of my friends got their pre-orders in at 8:30pm est on the 15th and their tracking info says they will have it delivered tomorrow. this upsets me that att hasn't even shipped my phone yet- but my two friends will have theirs tomorrow and it was shipped from china. pretty lame. hoping for a tracking number later tonight or tomorrow when i wake up.

also forgot to mention that i never received an email confirmation for the order but the rep told me on the phone that the order was received fine since i did get confirmation after placing the order on the website.
 
I ordered through Premier. What number are you all calling where reps tell you it looks good for you to have it by the 24th? I've talked to 2 reps today who said Premier wasn't even going to have the phones to ship until the 24th!

Could really use a number to call - because the ones I'm calling seem to be a dead end.

Since I can still order a phone on Apple's site, it looks like AT&T premier hasn't done anything yet.. I bet the July 15th date on Apple will be fulfilled a lot sooner than the 15th..

8008 number= dead end. Called using 611.. they didn't know anything, kicked me back to premier who is disconnecting all calls because they're too busy..

what a load.

You know, I think AT&T is the role model for premium customer support. Really, I mean what other company treats their top customers the way AT&T does?
 
This is dumb! Information was sent to Fedex after the phone was picked up? At least it says it will be here tomorrow by 4:30

I ordered mine through the ATT iphone preorder site. My order was never on backorder, but... I did receive a cancellation email at first, then I called ATT Immediately and they assured me that my order was not canceled. They said their system duplicated my order that it was a glitch in their system. I am a NON Premier ATT member, and I was never on back order with the new order number they gave me. The funny thing is that I still do not have an email from ATT saying that my order has shipped or anything. If it wasn't for this post providing a link to order status checker I would still be wondering if it was still coming or not. So THANKS EVERYONE for this post!

If you are in doubt call 611 on your ATT phone and ask the rep and they will either tell you right there or transfer you to their ecommerce store division or something like that and they will confirm if your order is on track.
 
Premier order

I ordered on premier on 6/15 at 12:25 PM EST and it didn't go into the AT&T order status until 6/19. I just noticed its not backordered anymore so I would expect it to ship tomorrow. The weird thing is the guy I work with also ordered on premier but ordered 2 hours later than me on that same day and his shipped today. So I guess it is random to when it gets entered into the at&t system from premier.

OK that;s weird, I got an email last night talking about my new 3GS?? Maybe it did ship and the website just isn't updating.

Ordered 6/15 @ 2:28pm CDT with immediate confirmation email -- 2 x 32GB models on a new family plan. Got additional emails at 4:39am on 6/17. Says 6/16 on the order status page.

My order has always been listed as "in progress" and has never been back-ordered.

I live 40 minutes north of Fort Worth ... so every tracking number update from someone else makes me weep. :( ;)

I'm hoping that things magically update soon showing that I'll get it tomorrow like all these people who ordered hours after me. I'm not holding my breath for that, though.

I should have ordered from Apple. :apple:

Same here. New ATT customer but I ordered both a 16 and a 32. Order time was 10:00 CST on 6/15, order status show 6/16, Still in progress.
 
mine is out for delivery.
placed on 6/15 at 3pm EST on reg ATT website
posted on 6/16 never in back order, stayed in progress till the morning of 6/22.
shipped out on 6/22 at 6:02am form Memphis.

ordered 16g
 
Still nothing new on my order. In progress. I called AT&T a few days ago to see if I could add a third line to my new order and the girl that answered was clueless. Almost as if they hired people to answer phones and get you off the phone as quickly as possible.

Is there a good number to call to get some answers? I would still like to add a third line too(non iPhone).

Similar to me. I ordered right around 10:30am, although I was backordered until yesterday morning. I'm up in York, PA... maybe they'll get to us soon.
 
I decided to finally call them. I'm on hold and according to the recording, my call "will be answered in the order it was received."

Gosh ... I hope that has the same meaning as their iPhone shipment policy. :rolleyes:
