AT&T order people with 6\16 date

Good to see that everyone is progressing, hopefully more people that had 'back ordered' statuses will be removed from that status. I'm thinking as long as you got your order in on the 15th, you will get your phone on the 24, or 25th. It's looking good (finally) for AT&T buyers so far. So much hype, so easy to get panicked.
 
Preordered 6/15. AT&T says ordered 6/16. Just checked this morning and "status" has changed from "in progress" to "shipped". Carrier is UPS with tracking number. No delivery date yet though. I'm excited!:D
 
Hey, that's great! I hope mine goes to "shipped" sometime today too. Enjoy your phones!

I think order numbers are irrelevant

Case and point.. one order starts with 5xxx and has shipped w/ tracking, mine starts with 3xxx and doesnt have a tracking number yet
 
Mine is shipped.....

Ordered around 8:30AM (central) on 06/15, and received shipment notification today. FedEx shows it will be delivered tomorrow by 3PM. It is probably unusual to get phones delivered a day before the release day...ain't it? :confused:
 
order submitted around 12:00pm pacific time on 6/15. order status showed 6/16. got a tracking number today, ups shows service type as "NDA SAVER DEL CONF", could that mean "next day air saver with delivery confirmation"? if so i'm stoked!

the mail order folks that activate tomorrow will mean that much less to activate on 6/24 for the reservation picker-uppers and camping over-nighters

Just got a text message on my old iPhone from ATT:

Still no shipping email, UPS status still Tennessee.
 
Ordered 32GB @ 12:30pm CST 6/15 through regular AT&T website. Order status shows 6/16 "in progress", account authorized on 6/17 and got the confirmation email of my order. Today, the authorization was dropped and reverted back to my account. Order status still says "in progress", and I'm beginning to worry!

I live in Texas and AT&T is based in Dallas.
 
I've been checking this thread obsessively and every time someone posts that they got a tracking number I rush over to the AT&T's site to see if my status changed. I hoped writing this would somehow change my status, but...wait...nope, still the same.

I'm happy everyone elses is making progress, but it would be nice if my order showed some sign of life. So frustrating and such a trivial thing to be frustrated about. :rolleyes:

I guess I'll just live vicariously through everyone who gets it tomorrow and the 24th!!
 
My order status says it will deliver 6/23.

The phone is already in my state.

Called FEDEX - they confirmed my phone will be delivered tomorrow before 3!!!!
 
I'm one of those who went through Premier and got dated 6/16 instead of 6/15.

As of last night, my back order status went to 0. That's a good sign. And I don't expect a shipping label because USPS is slower than dirt to update anything. Also, a lot of phones are sitting in the Dallas area still waiting to be tagged.
This is my two cents; if you live within a close drive (for me 1 1/2 hour), you probably shouldn't expect a tracking number until the 23rd late at night or even the early AM on the 24th. There's just no point as the phone only has to travel 98 miles as opposed to others traveling from over seas.

I got this text as well, and I still have "in progress" as my order status...I hope this means I will move to "shipped" soon.
FWIW: Ordered 6/15 2:00PM CT, Order date says 6/16, email recieved 6/17, ordered a 16GB. Also, I checked my upgrade eligibility and it has changed to feb of 2012.
 
Shipped via UPS this morning with a tracking number. I got the text on my old iPhone. I'm stoked!!!
 
Status

AT&T Regular Site: Says I've purchased two new iPhones (16GB) and shows both of them as Back Ordered. Order date on this site shows 6/16/10

AT&T Premier Site: Says I've ordered one new iPhone (16GB) and shows it as "Processing". Order date shown as 6/15/10.

Just spoke with AT&T Premier Customer Service, who confirmed for me that I somehow ordered two iPhones and I have to send one of them back to receive my credit, however, she did inform me that even though it is still showing up as backordered, I will in fact be receiving my iPhone on 6/24. She said to expect a Tracking number over the next 24 Hours. Here's to hoping she's right. I'm going to have people lining up to buy that other iPhone!

I just got my FedEx shipping number on AT&T's site. No infomation at FedEx yet, but I have a shipping number.

I had given up all hope for being in this first batch.
