At&t Order Status Poll

- AT&T Retail, 16GB, Delivering to house; 6/15 9:11AM EST
- Received tracking number early this morning
- Use Bank Of America Debit check card ($212)
- Hold on 6/15, released funds on 6/19. No charge as of now.
- Never B/O'd, Status is Shipped
I have a tracking number and I ordered a 32gb. Same thing with my brother.
I received a ship confirmation from AT&T Premier this afternoon.
Pre ordered from the premier site on 6/15 08:30AM PST, got confirmation email 5 minutes later but still no tracking number and still back ordered. They had a hold on my bank account for three days totaling approx $199, but that has since gone away... I had a friend that ordered through the "regular AT&T site an hour or so after I did and he's already gotten a shipment confirmation email... so who knows WTF is going on.
so consensus at this time is a lot of Premier preorders with no tracking number still and still backordered!

i ordered at 6:30 pm EST from the AT&T store. i have a tracking number that has upgraded to shipped status today. says it shipped yesterday (6/20). the fedex tracking number has no info in it yet.
charge sitting in my bank account last week as pending, then dropped. called at&t and they said they charge the card when it ships. this morning, a new pending amount for $322.

Ordered my 3Gs via Premier on release day, had nothing but problems. This time I chose to order via regular AT&T site.
Ordered 1- 16GB & 1- 32GB on the 15th @ 11:45 AM PST
Confirmation notices received on 16th.
Both listed as shipped early this morning.
Tracking numbers just went live. ETA: 24th.

how are you able to do that? When I preordered, it's like no choice, it automatically takes you to Premier store if you have FAN discount at that time

The store was ridiculously easy compared to all the online experiences I read about. Even as a Premier customer, I walked in and out and less than 10 minutes over lunch on the 15th and it's shipped and on it's way. It could not have been easier.
While I'm normally an online guy, this was one of those instances where going into a brick and mortar store was 100 times easier and less frustrating.

I just got of the phone with ATT CSR, Kyle, in Pennsylvania. He was very very nice.
First, my current status:
Ordered 4:27a CDT on 6/15 from ATT Premier
Premier status: Processing, last updated 6/17
Premier phone status: order is processed and will ship soon
Regular ATT status: order date of 6/16 - 1 Ordered, 1 Backordered (from day one)
Model: 32gb
Kyle said that it looks like my order is prepared to ship out on the 23rd oven though it says backordered. When I asked about why other people who ordered later were getting theirs shipped ahead of some of the earlier orders, he didn't have an answer. He talked to his manager and he also did not have an answer. He seemed confident that I would receive my phone by the 24th even though it says backordered. He also mentioned that many, many more people ordered through premier than did through regular ATT which could be the reason for the skewed number. Who knows.

Status was 1 Backordered ever since I placed the order. In the last 15 minutes the backorder changed to 0. I'm hopeful that the shipping will be there when I wake up. Anyway, at least it's a change!

Ordered mine 6/15 at 0715 EDT through Premier. Got confirmation quickly and got the shipped email today. Everything has gone smoothly so far.
THIS JUST IN! "Back Ordered" just went from 1 to 0... I'm expecting to get a "shipped" email by tomorrow... we'll see... Fingers crossed!
