You misunderstand me. AT&T reps tell a lie to the customer when they say store only, when clearly on AT&T's website you are allowed online Pre-Order.

Reason why they lie is to get that commision.

just clicked the link dave006 posted and it brought up the available iPhone prices for 3GS and 3G.

looks like i got the following:

3gs 32gb = $199
3gs 16gb = $149
3g 8gb = $99

so i assume i'm good to go!
