My colleague just im me that he got his 6+ ordered from Apple store. So depressing
 
First thing that pops up on my order status page: We'll ship your preordered items when they become available.

Bottom line: If AT&T is selling 6 Pluses in stores today, then apparently they have 'become available' and AT&T should be allocating ALL their phones to the people who pre-ordered them already.
Yes. There be NOT ONE person standing in line who was able to get the phone I pre-ordered last week. NOT ONE.
 
The lack of patience and overall demeanor of some of the people in this thread astounds me. Take a step back and think about what you are so up in arms about... A TELEPHONE!!! A phone thats damn near the same as the 5S (minus a big screen).

My order was delayed just like many others, even though i placed my order within 10 minutes of the preorder go live.

Expressing your frustrations to AT&T online chat reps, or calling AT&T and acting like a douche have gotten these people nowhere, aside from looking like a complete **** on this forum.

haha I was doing the same when i was home this morning. The suspense is killing me tho. On my way out, i saw a UPS truck in a court like two blocks away. Being out of the house is killing me -_-

All Premier (and other 10-2/10-13) please read...

I just got an iphone 6 plus 64gb silver in my local small town store. Walked in, no line, got the ONLY phone they had received... just happened to be the same phone I pre-ordered. :D

But the best part - I called 611 from my phone and asked to cancel my pre-order so they could upgrade using my NEXT eligibility and the CSR was able to verify that my phone hadn't shipped and wouldn't ship til 10-2. Upgrade was done flawlessly and I walked out with phone in hand. I thought the phone reps knew nothing but sure enough, few clicks of his mouse verified I would've been SOL til it shipped later.

Not the news many were expecting but figured I'd post my results. Would've been waiting all day by the door for a Fed Ex/UPS truck to arrive when I never rec'd tracking numbers.

(Premier order @ 12:03AM PST, California, email conf @ 12:45AM, order #1014, email stating still delivering 10-2, texts, the whole nine yards).

Rant noted. We paid early for our devices and got shafted on times, thus complaining about it here where we are also tracking the orders.

Please press ALT+F4 and think you're better elsewhere.

I needed that... Great post.. :)

Honestly - not upset about the phone as much as the piss poor logistics... I simply want to know what day so I can plan accordingly... next week is fine - whenever is fine..

The issue for me is that if they DO use Fedex and I miss the deilvery - the nearest hub is over an hour away. The comments by some people saying they received phones but never got tracking info is very worrysome.

Every other year I have just waited until October and walked in the store to purchase... thats my plan next year after this mess.

To all my fellow 6+ space grey orderers, the percent of in store pick ups today is about 5-10 if that across America, so let's be thankful we didn't have to go through the in person disappointment shall we.

Yes it's a phone, a phone that I will see a bill for pretty soon which I do not have. A phone that we all pre-ordered around the time of launch, yet others who ordered days after us have received. A phone that every single other carrier has been able to deliver today for the most part, EXCEPT AT&T. A phone that at this very moment, you can still get on AT&T and pre-order, which is mind boggling.

I myself don't give a rats a$$ about the phone itself at this point, but throw all protocol and pre-ordering procedures out of the window, because ZERO logic explains what is going on with AT&T at the moment. First come first serve is complete BS, and I'm pretty sure many of us have a bigger chance of spotting a leprechaun riding a unicorn than confirmations of those receiving their 6 + units.


This is a thread for pre-orders of the 6 Plus with AT&T, there's going to be people here for the most part with complaints, as I'm still not convinced AT&T has any 6 + models that have shipped out with the exception of a handful of people who's orders might as well been picked out of a hat. don't like it, click elsewhere.
 
I was first in line at my local AT&T store today. They only had 10 pluses and specific size/color combos. I went for a 16GB gold and ended up with a 128GB Gold. About 50 people were there at 8AM and they had enough 6s for all of them. Good luck to everyone else! AT&T really did mess things up in this one but FWIW you'll be very happy with the phone when you get it!

Dream Begins: I'm sitting at work and I get the email from our office receptionist that says, "There's a package up here for you. Please come get it at your earliest convenience." This usually happens around noon CST.

My smile is HUGE and the thoughts start to race through my head. I didn't order anything else, right? Maybe my Premier and AT&T pages were so far behind that I didn't know it shipped. OMG is this REAL?! I still don't have a case! OMG, I can't go out tonight, I have to sync my phone!

BUT NONE OF THIS HAPPENED.

Same here. Cancelled my online order that had 10/2-10/13 ship date. Then I went to this att store and walked in and bought a 6+ 64gb with no prob. Screw online ordering from now on.
 
Lessoned learned. Should have camped out took day off. My 4s will make it though I'm just hoping to get it quicker than oct 2nd at this point.
