This morning I was looking around and found a space grey 64 gb plus available to pick up at an Apple Store in nyc. I ordered it and while waiting pick up confirmation I called att to cancel the preorder. Alex from premiere was the worst. They couldn't cancel the order because it's in a warehouse awaiting shipment. We went back and forth for a few and he eventually hung up on me. I did no a commitment purchase so there was no eligibility to restore thank goodness. Played with the 6 and wasn't happy with the screen size. I honestly think Apple could have gone with one size. The 6 is too small snd the 6+ is a little too big, but I'm happy and I love it.
Not sure if confirmation email time matters. I didn't get my preorder through till about 340am est but I got the confirmation at 517am. Still stuck in processing preorder hell.

I just called (1:45PM) and it's backordered. 15 minutes past the official start of the pre-order, and here I am a day after release day backordered. :/

Damn I pre-ordered 12:15am Pacific, 15 minutes after midnight. I originally got the estimated ship date of 10/2-10/13. Went from preparing to ship to backordered and now back to preparing to ship. Still no confirmation.

The I one I got tracking information for, I got the confirmation e-mail at 1:25 am, and hour after I preordered..
But the gold one I ordered at and got a order confirmation at 12:03 am has not shipped yet, I'm sure it's just delayed.
Getting more and more sick to my stomach watching my exact phone 6+ 64 SG being shipped to people from Fort Worth 30 mins away from me when I ordered at the exact same time. Yet when I call it says back ordered. Att is dog ****

Even though I wouldn't use as strong of language as Burrstone, I side with them. I get very uncomfortable seeing or hearing about people taking their anger out on customer service employees.
I have ALWAYS followed the mantra that you catch more flies with honey. You won't believe how many hookups I've gotten over others in similar situations, simply because I approached employees in a positive and understanding manner vs. raising hell.
If they authorized the old card, you probably would have been ok. That gave them the approve/decline for the transaction. They shouldn't need another authorization when its ships as it already had the approval. It might get charged back to them later since the card was cancelled, but the phone would already be in route/in-hand when that happened and they'd call you to rectify.

Looks like shipping verification is still showing up for people who got their preorders in before midnight pst. Any (Premiers) who ordered after midnight get their Shipping confirmation?

I saw a 12:03 and a 12:04. Those were the latest. I got mine in at 12:03 with no shipping though so I don't know.
