AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

It's obviously no is getting their iPhone 6 Plus on 9/19 unless these dates change Wednesday/Thursday night. I'm not even planning on receiving mine until October. I wanted to sell my iPhone 5 for $200, but that might be a little difficult as we're waiting on the new phone.
 
I was one of the ones that got in early around 11:52pm (west coast) and my confirmation emails came before midnight. Both mine say 10/33-10/22, I am pretty sure AT&T's website and shipping estimates are totally unreliable. Pretty sure we will get our phones on Friday.

I forgot to mention that back when I ordered the 4s, the website showed backordered all the way till the phones were delivered to my door step. Unfortunately AT&T really sucks about this stuff.
 
I ordered 2 6 Plus (Space Grey - 1 with 128 GB / 1 w 64 GB) at about 4:00 am (EDT) and was give the "21 to 28 days" message. Much later in the day I went to the credit card site and saw that 2 pending charges for $1.00 each from AT&T. Still later on Friday, I went back to the credit card site and saw pending charges for the full amount.

By Saturday morning, when I checked the credit card site - both pending charges had been removed and were not converted to actual charges. However, the AT&T Premier site still shows both orders but still no ship dates.

As long as they are still shown on the AT&T site - I'm happy. I can only hope that AT&T plugs in some shipping dates soon.
 
I was able to order a couple of minutes before midnight....so my premier site says i ordered 9/11 and the regular ATT website says 9/12....received a confirmation email minutes later confirming my order....still showing pending shipping date for the 10/13-10/22 dates......I still think by midweek everything will start to sort itself out as far as receivng it on launch day....i'm confused when people say this is the first 4 of my order number.....what does that have to do with anything?
 
I ordered around 340 est (almost got through at 320 but the site kicked me off) 14-21 days. My dates were 10/13-10/21. Yesterday my dates were changed 10/2-10/13. # I have never preordered usually go hunt one down but don't have the time this year.

Forgot to mention 6+ gold 16gb
 
Pre-ordered mine in the store (I know, big mistake) at 9AM on the 12th. Mine says "Preparing to Ship" but the expected shipping date is 10/31/14-11/11/14...how is this possible?
 
Ordered 7 iPhone 6Plus's for my company right after pre-orders started and they all show 10/13-10/22, even though the initial email said 14-21 days. So they are either unsure of how much 6P stock they will have for launch day, or they just don't have any at all and most 6P buyers will have to wait longer.
 
11-9 to 11-27

I told my Premier rep on the 9th to preorder two iPhones for me. He didn't place the order until yesterday. Not too happy so I plan to wait on the front of AT&T on Friday morning.

Mine is the same phone and same order time as yours as well as same change in shipping date. Frustrating to see it go from 10/2-10/13 to now 10/13-10/22.

Mine did that too. I ordered before the official go live time. My own phone was first - 128GB Space Gray. The original estimate was 10/2-10/13

My husband's was next but his is the regular 6.

My mother's was after that. Hers is a 128GB Silver. Her original date was 10/13-10/22.

Yesterday, my dates slipped to 10/13-10/22. My mother's went to backordered. Later, my mother's went off backorder & her dates are now 10/2-10/13.
 
mother **** att. trying to cancel the pre-order and the web form doesn't work, no one in chat can help me and the phone lines are tied up wtf

Same. Started with a better date. Then moved to the 11/29 bracket. Then moved up to the 10/31-11/11 bracket.

Really would like to think they would have had enough to fill day 1 pre orders, let alone people such as myself who had their order in by 8am.

Fwiw order # is 1114, time is 7:39am est on 9/12, and model is 6+ 128 in space gray.

Here's to hoping... If I don't see a dramatic improvement I will be going to the local att or best buy a few hours early with a fully charged battery and parking on my rear.

If that comes to pass I'll never pre order again. It literally serves no purpose. Even if 4 hours is somehow too late for a day 1, it's inconceivable to think that I wouldn't be able to find one much much sooner than 2 months later just by walking in a store.

Sigh.

AT&T had only a couple hundred iPhone 6+'s come in time for pre-order. I believe he said the only 6+ model they got in so far was were actually 64GB in space grey. AT&T contacted apple, and the rest of there shipment should be there any day now but its not guaranteed at&t will get them out for the launch. They have cautiously set the dates for the first batch of 6+'s to 10/2/2014, other then the small batch of 64gb+'s that came with the regular 6's, none of us will likely get our pre-ordered 6+'s.

I spoke to a family member who works at the largest AT&T store in the area, and he confirmed to me this morning they received there first batch of iPhones which included 6+'s this morning so if you have a corporate AT&T store i recommend going and standing in line =]

I suppose it's possible that AT&T sold all its stock in two minutes -- or is going to allow people who ordered before 12:01 to benefit from that -- but if that's the case Apple is either screwing carriers on inventory or the release date for the 6+ was just marketing theater.

The first four or the four after the hyphen? The first four mean nothing, they're completely random.
 
In Store

I couldn't pre-order online, I'm porting two lines over from Verizon and I had to talk to the reps about working with temp lines until my contract with Verizon ends (Sept 21). I pre-ordered in the store, my plus isn't estimated to ship until 11/9 but it could be as late as 11/27... frustrating.

Think about it. If the stores are getting the 6+s, what makes you think they don't have them in their warehouses?
 
AT&T site was not responding for me from 2:00am central to 2:20. As soon as it did I ordered a SG 6+ 64GB. Originally got an Oct 13-22 date, now says preparing to ship with a Oct 2-13 date.

Apple site (or the app) hadn't worked for me all the way up to 3:00central. Went to bed, got up and ordered one on the Apple site about 7:00am central, SG 6+ 128GB. Has consistently said delivers Oct 13-22.

2 orders:

1) 128GB Gray ~11:55PM PST. Confirm email 12:01AM PST. 10/13-10/21 to backordered to 10/13-10/21.

2) 128GB Silver ~ 12:00 AM PST. Confirm email 1:25 AM PST. 11/07-11/29 to backordered to 10/13-10/21.

Both show same estimate date now. Guessing, 128GB won't be back in supply until then.

ATT premier order numbers. All my 6+'s are set for 10/02/2014. I ordered my 6+'s between 2:51-3:07AM EST. The numbers actually appear to be counting down. the later the order the higher the number. my

Not sure anyone else noticed in reading through this thread, but it seems like everyone that got an October date (10-02 or 10-13), had their dates switched.

It also seems that everyone that says they got in before the official time, went from a 10-2 to a 10-13. Those that got in right after showed a 10-13 and now show a 10-2. At least on the 64GB, that seems to be a very consistent trend evident in this thread.

Mine moved up, as I was just after midnight with my order.
