AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Yeah, never mind. False alarm. (I was doing 5 things at once and was thinking the ATT page was the one that said "preorder processing," but I think it has said "preparing to ship" all along...)

Mine also has said preparing to ship on att since I ordered it. It was the 877 status check that just finally changed for me from back ordered to processing. I think preparing to ship means anything from its actually about to ship all the way to it is being put together in China.

I agree with this guy. The status has always been different when checking on Att vs the email premier link. As far as I can tell from all of the posters there is not indication when it will ship from your current status. The next step is when it changes to shipped. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hopefully it comes soon for you. Everyone who gets one means mine is at least one phone closer.

Just goes to show you convoluted this whole "process" has been.

I'm in Kentucky.

Order placed on AT&T (Premier) on 9/12 right at 3am ET (I took a screenshot of my "completed order" page at 3:05am ET... that page said "7-10 business days"). I didn't have any problems logging onto ATT web site (but I couldn't get in before 3am ET).

I got the "AT&T: Thank You for Your Order" email at 4:23am ET.

On 9/13 at 9:54am, I got a text from AT&T that said "AT&T free Msg: Congratulations! Your order has been processed. You will be notified when your order has shipped."

No other communication from AT&T since then.

I'm currently in the 10/2-10/13 group (and I think I've been there the whole time). My status is "preorder processing" (and I still have a blue "Cancel Preorder" button) on the Premier web page (link from Premier email confirmation). My status is "Preparing to Ship" when I log into my AT&T account.

If I call the phone number, it says my phone is backordered.

[I also ordered a "regular" iPhone 6 - not the "Plus" version, in a separate order, right after ordering my 128GB SG Plus. Same ordering procedure, but that order went in a few minutes after my "Plus" order. That phone was delivered on release day, with no problems.]

Both my orders (6+ 128GB SG and 6 64GB silver) had order numbers starting with 1012. The 6 was delivered on release day. No tracking info or anything on my SG 128GB 6+.

This has been a really frustrating process...

Yes, frustrating is a nice way to put our experiences with ATT preorders...

My order time and confirmation(4:29 est) are almost exact to yours, only that I only ordered 1 phone (6+ 128 SG). I didn't get my 2 Order Processed text messages from ATT until Saturday 9/13 around 9am EST as well.

I am in GA and still waiting.......No doubt that the 6+ 128gb seems to be the most elusive.

For what its worth or means? looks like one of the planes is heading for so cal. 128 sg, 12:03 non premier here

If you waiting on a 64GB Space Gray here is some good news.

A guy on reddit had one shipped from china today. So it seems that there is at least one pallet of 64GB Space Grays coming in on these planes.

I was following the flights into alaska, there where 4, and now looks like 5 coming out, with one to Burbank, or LAX. So kinda looks like some inventory might have been pulled from the plans, and loaded on to a 5th plane. of course trying to make since of this is pointless. im in chino ca btw

is there a possibility that these will all just be sent to apple stores and other wireless carriers to restock? not sure how these things work but hopefully thats not what happens lol i need my 128gb in los angeles asap lol

Yeah Im with you on that. Just thought id point it out. There really and trully is no way to make any since of how things are happening. But this is the first plane i have seen that is heading to So Cal instead of Fort Worth or Lousville.

Indeed, really REALLY frustrating. :(

My 64GB SG 6+ order was completed at the same time, though on the regular AT&T website. I thought I was doing so well, taking less than 5 minutes to complete my order after the order page went live. My confirmation email came 5 hours later; the confirmation text was 9 hours later. Like you, I'm still in the 10/2-10/13 shipping group. Fingers are crossed that it will ship early, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm not happy with AT&T or Apple right now.

My only consolation is that I didn't spend 3 hours reloading the Apple website. Given the choice between wasting hours and waiting a few weeks, I'd rather wait a few weeks.

Yeah, 6+ haven't been in any of the stores around here, i went to ATT at plaza on sunday with plans of canceling and get the regular 6 and the store manager stopped me from doing it! Haha
 
Forgive me for getting a bit off topic, and im fairly new to posting here. How do I change my "signature" to include all my iphone order stats. I see it on the bottom of many post. Just figured it would help when i post incase others are in my boat.
