AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I've been following along, and just wanted to add my info.

iPhone 6 Plus (space gray, 128GB)
Order completed 3:05am ET on 9/12 (AT&T Premier)
NOTHING so far...still in the 10/2-10/13 group
I'm in Kentucky.

Order placed on AT&T (Premier) on 9/12 right at 3am ET (I took a screenshot of my "completed order" page at 3:05am ET... that page said "7-10 business days"). I didn't have any problems logging onto ATT web site (but I couldn't get in before 3am ET).

I got the "AT&T: Thank You for Your Order" email at 4:23am ET.

On 9/13 at 9:54am, I got a text from AT&T that said "AT&T free Msg: Congratulations! Your order has been processed. You will be notified when your order has shipped."

No other communication from AT&T since then.

I'm currently in the 10/2-10/13 group (and I think I've been there the whole time). My status is "preorder processing" (and I still have a blue "Cancel Preorder" button) on the Premier web page (link from Premier email confirmation). My status is "Preparing to Ship" when I log into my AT&T account.

If I call the phone number, it says my phone is backordered.

[I also ordered a "regular" iPhone 6 - not the "Plus" version, in a separate order, right after ordering my 128GB SG Plus. Same ordering procedure, but that order went in a few minutes after my "Plus" order. That phone was delivered on release day, with no problems.]

Both my orders (6+ 128GB SG and 6 64GB silver) had order numbers starting with 1012. The 6 was delivered on release day. No tracking info or anything on my SG 128GB 6+.

This has been a really frustrating process...

When was you order processed? Your order and conformation has nothing to do with you getting it before people..

But we have to remember. None of the other launches had 2 models(6,6+) 3 colors and 3 storage options..That is 18 different configurations of one launch. This has in fact never happened before.

Based on my conversation with premier, the timestamp of the order is not the time of the text (which appears later) but rather the time of the second email, in my case at 7:50am eastern on the 12th - almost 5 full hours after my order was placed.

the 2nd email?! that makes this even worse since my 2nd email was sent out only a few minutes after midnight -_-

My phone has been shipped and estimated to arrive tomorrow, 9/23 (my freaking birthday) by 3:00 PM! Here are my details for people in a similar situation:

• iPhone 6+ 64GB Space Grey
• Ordered from ATT.com at at 1:46AM CST
• I live in Champaign-Urbana, IL
• Order number starts with 1018
• I don't know if I am Premier or not and do not know how to check
• My initial ship date was 10/2-10/13, soon changed to 10/13-10/31, then back to 10/2-10/13 over the weekend
• Tonight at 8:00PM I checked my order through the link in the first email I was sent and my estimated time changed to "Pending Confirmation" (oh no!)
• I panicked and called ATT and checked other forums while I was on hold
• I learned I should check my order status from the ATT.com website, so I did
• ATT.com order status said "Shipped" and gave me my Fedex tracking number!
• My phone left Memphis, TN at 5:32 pm on Monday and is estimated to be here tomorrow (Tues.) by 3:00 PM! I hope my roommates will be home to answer the door!

If you guys have any questions I will try to answer!
I want to say "don't give up hope," but that only pissed me off when I read it, so I won't say anything!

I am guessing order numbers would be sequential even on the screwed up system like AT&T

Nope...two orders about an hour apart, first order starts with 191, second with like 169...so I doubt they're sequential.

Good news, congrats. I ordered an hour and half before but my order number is the same first 4. What time did you receive your confirmation email that morning?

What's horrifying to me is that despite ordering at about 3:15AM EDT 9/12, it wasn't until almost 30 HOURS later, 9:04AM 9/13, that I got this text message (twice at once):

Then again, I started in the 10/13-10/22 estimated shipping range and by Monday 9/15 I was and still am in the 10/2-10/13 range, and surely I would have a November date range if my order wasn't processed until 9am on the 13th, right??

My husband got his text message 72 hours after we ordered so I freaking hope it doesn't count that. I will lose my mind!!

My story is very similar except I ordered and received the confirmation email about an hour earlier. It is preorder processing, preparing to ship, and back ordered on my 64 SG depending on where I check.

Maybe this was brought up earlier in the thread and I missed it, but it adds a whole new level of confusion as to the order in which they are shipping phones.
