I really do want the 6+ rhat ive been waiting for but with all this talk of it bending and having to wait forever for it to get shipped I'm not too sure. I'm really starting to debate if I should just cancel and go to the att store and get the ip6. What makes it even worse is I ordered a case for the 6+ that will probably be here before I even get a tracking number, or the phone itself.

Any advice? (shipping date is 10/2-10-13)

I just got my 6 plus today and getting a durable case would help prevent you from bending it. It is a beautiful phone and worth the wait!

I've had my case for about a week now and today I contemplated doing the same thing you're talking about. I decided to just wait it out and of course my screen protector came in after to rub salt in the wound lol.

Just see it out.. It's the phone you ordered so it's the one you want more. I'm sure you'll be happier in the long run.

I say stick it out. If you're unhappy once you get it, you can exchange it at that point for a 6. I think if you're careful with the phone, you won't bend it. Then again I don't know your lifestyle, so maybe being careful how you carry it isn't realistic for you. I'll have mine in my purse, in a sleeve, in a case, so I'm not overly worried about it bending.
 
The 877 number has updated from Backorder to Processing...
Still no updates on either Premier or myatt website.

I just got my 6 plus today and getting a durable case would help prevent you from bending it. It is a beautiful phone and worth the wait!

I used it in the store, it is great.
I wanna wait but I'm impatient mainly because of this forum. When you see others getting their phone or tracking number it makes you wanna check to see if it's your turn and then when it's not you get pissed. And then calm down and then see a post....

Out of inconvenience. I guess since I've been a customer for a while? I threatented to leave AT&T and go to Verizon (in a nice way). She was super compassionate about the whole situation and never denied any wrong doing by AT&T. I asked if I could have some sort of compensation and she said "sure, I can give you a $76 credit if you'll stay with AT&T". I went for it. That plus waived activation fees and $200 credits x 2 for both of our 4s is sucking me in...

just hoping my change from backordered to processing really means something now.

Yeah I'm just gonna wait it out and try not to think about it so much. I mean 10/2 is only a week away. Hopefully we all get them before this weekend.

Lucky you. Every time I talked to someone they always said they could not give me a credit or anyrhing.

Not yet......but a bunch of people said that they got there's a little after the change. You're in Chicago as well right? I'll keep you posted if I get mine. What and when did your order?

YES!!! Just moments ago i checked the 877 Number and its always said back ordered and tonight it changed to processing. i kept refreshing the page online and it changed to shipped via fedex and gave me a tracking number! it comes tomorrow!!!

Because apparently they don't work weekends, which we all know is BS by some of our comrades got theirs shipped this weekend.

I purchased mine on NEXT and my bill cycle starts over on October 7th. If my phone has not shipped by then and they charge me my first installment payment on my October bill, I'm calling 611 and raising all kinds of hell.

I'm not paying on a status that says "Preparing to Ship". Not to be mean, but why should I pay for a phone I don't have yet?

I don't blame you but don't mess up your phone schedule for the next release. ;)

I hope for all the folks who've gotten the "being processed" message that it does mean their phones are shipping.

But unfortunately, the 877 line still tells me I'm "on backorder". This is really frustrating. But I have yet to see any indication of 128GB 6+ phones for AT&T in stock anywhere near me, in any color. So I feel I have no choice but to wait it out.

Maybe tomorrow...

Yep. Had to call to activate a new line and while talking to the rep asked if the upgrade fees were being charged. Rep saw them on as pending charges and waived due to the debacle of the new line activation I was having.

Just to keep the thread on topic, I'm still waiting for 6+ 64gb SG ordered around 230am CDT on 9/12. Ordered through regular at&t login but order is processed as Premiere due to employee discount.

Nothing here. Changed to being processed over an hour ago.

And BTW, I'm a "Premier" member. All I get is a 10% discount on some charges. That's why my account falls under the Premier" tag. But we've been $cr3w3d over at least as badly as the non-premier accounts.
